We want to mention that although the Arlo Solar Panel is designed to keep your Arlo camera’s battery fully charged, heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it. The 2-watt Arlo Solar Panel is designed to provide year-round trickle charging to keep your Arlo camera battery charged, not to charge your camera battery from low to full. However, the solar panel comes with 8' cord that's Not replaceable or extendable! Camera at my front door requires more like 14-18' of cable to cleanly route. I would Not recommend this solar panel to anyone who needs more cable to mount under an eve or location that would not draw attention to it. The proprietary magnetic charging end makes it difficult to find other optional solar chargers,,,

I was hoping I would not have to get on a scissor lift every few days to recharge the cameras. Unfortunately, the solar panels are no solution and do not keep the cameras charged (NO MATTER THE WEATHER). Do not waste your money.
