I have now had two cameras outside powered by solar for almost a month and I am completely satisfied. Both cameras are almost always charged at 100% so the solar is doing exactly what it is supposed to. I know that you can get a less expensive solar panel but I always feel it better to get one by the manufacture and in this case that was the right decision

I have cameras that are a pain to keep pulling down n charging battery n this was my option for eliminating that hassle. It is a great option for charging with solar n I have no issue keeping the cameras fully charged. Only downside if your location is always cloudy I would stick with hooking it up to power. Actually I lied if it’s cloudy it still gets some charge but not full potential like on a sunny day

These are a must have for your wireless Arlo cameras. We were getting about a week on average for battery life. Down side is I wish you could power more than one camera on a single panel. Really starts standing out and looking clustered with 2 cameras and panels mounted close to each other. They are easy to install. Plenty of cord and just attached with the magnetic end like the wall charger.

I bought an Arlo Ultra set with four cameras and learned fairly quickly that the batteries run down quickly in areas where the camera senses a lot of activity. I purchased two of the solar panels and am very pleased that I never have to get on a ladder to take two of the cameras down for charging. I would definitely recommend buying these for Arlo cameras because they truly work.

This is a legitimately helpful accessory. I have it installed for my Arlo Pro 3 camera that is in a high traffic zone and it charged up my camera (when installed battery level was 52%) within 24 hours and has kept it topped off. I average about 20-25 motion events a day with this particular camera. Install was easy and it does what it is advertised to do.

Needs to be in the sun the majority of the day to do any good, so try to avoid a spot that is both mostly shade, and/or behind trees. Helps to have camera fully charged before using- panels are enough to sustain, but not really enough to fully charge efficiently.

Good product quality. Comes with the 8 ft cable attached permanently to the actual solar panel, so just keep that in mind. It's the same magnetic charger connector that your regular charger has... So it just sticks to the bottom of your camera. Does a decent job at keeping my camera charged longer in a heavy traffic zone.

I have 2 already installed. Unfortunately, one panel gets less than 4 hours of direct sunlight and the battery is yet to charge over 50%. Of course, that's my fault, but overall, the panels work great. I don't have to deal with the hassle of manually taking the batteries out to charge them. Price is a bit steep, but at the time of purchase Best Buy had a special if you bought more than one panel.

Purchased Arlo Ultra wireless cameras and the one in a high traffic area had the battery charge go down more rapidly than the others causing me to have to keep charging it. I bought this solar panel charger, and problem solved. Highly recommend. Easy install.

Bought this for the camera facing the street, on my roof. Being the most active camera, it needed more frequent battery chargings. Not any more. Haven't had to climb up on my roof since installing this charger. Will purchase more for the other cameras to make them self sufficient, but the battery life is so long it's not a priority.

Great product so far. After installation, make sure to reset your Arlo base. My camera was not showing any charging sign in the app until I reset the system. I just installed it about two weeks ago and camera's battery is 100% so far. Not sure how effective it would be in the winters as its mostly cloudy in Portland OR but so far 5* in spring!
