When I first purchased my Ring Security Cameras, I had one battery for each camera and had to climb a ladder to take them out and charge. These solar panels have eliminated that agonizing chore completely! It is definitely a game changer.

Brought this for my second camera. Just what I needed, now I need another one for my first camera so I can stop charging the battery. This solar charger works GREAT!!!!

The cables were toasted due to the sun. It does not let you replace the cable only. You have to purchase a new solar panel again. The cables are internal.

Had to return it. Most of the installation videos show as if the cable that connect to the spotlight have a sort of gasket at the end to cover the new exposed holes where the screws go. We tried to go in to the store and figure out why the cable that comes with the panel doesn’t have it but the customer service staff couldn’t figure it out either so we went with a second battery instead.

Awesome that I don’t have to change battery on my ring security camera. Works well no issues so far.

Never having to change the battery for my ring camera is wonderful. I have had these for 2 years and through 2 hurricanes and they have never even flickered. Good strong product!

I have installed a total of four Ring Spotlight cameras that I have installed four Ring Solar Panels to go with. This provides me with a maintenance free system, because I don't have to change the battery out at all. As you can see in the picture, you are provided with enough wire that you can have a good amount of distance between the camera and the solar panel (better placement for light). Installation only took a couple minutes and was very simple. I have these installed in Ohio & haven't had any issues with them fully keeping my cameras charged. This is a must have if you have the wire free Ring cameras.

this solar panel is a nice addition to your ring spotlight battery powered camera. The installation couldn't be more simple. No need to add this to your ring app. The cable to connect this to your spotlight cam is around 9-10 feet. Just install it wherever the sun hits your house and plug the wire to the back of your spotlight cam and you're all done. When you look at the spotlight Cam's device settings in the ring app, it doesn't show you that the batteries are charging BUT they are charging, so no worries. Give it a day and you'll notice that your battery percentage will go up, and it will continue to do so until it's fully charged. This product saves me a lot of time from using the ladder just to take the battery out, recharge it for 9+ hours and climb back up to reinstall. Nowadays, it stays charged just like the wired version. I recommend this to anyone with ring battery powered spotlight cams

I bought the ring outdoor security camera and the areas where i have added these panels are not fully exposed to sun, but they still manage to charge my camera battery and it is always above 95% even on the cameras where have max motion throughout the day. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

Since installing the solar battery, I have never had to charge the regular camera batteries. It truly saves me the hassle of going outside in all types of weather conditions to change the batteries. It is compact and blends in nicly with my outdoor decor.

Really happy I ended up purchasing the solar panel for my Ring spotlight cam. I bought the camera about a year ago along with an extra battery and would just swap it out when it go low. Didn't have to do it too often, but it was still enough that I started noticing how often I was (especially when it's cold outside). Finally gave in and bought the solar panel, and it has been keeping the battery at 100% since I put it in! Would definitely have been easier to set it up with the camera all at once, but it really wasn't too difficult to do after the fact either. I was worried our sunlight wouldn't be enough or it wouldn't withstand our snowy temperatures, but haven't had any issues so far. Now I'm looking to get another one for my backyard camera just so I won't have to worry about it again!

Excellent product, works very well. The Ring set of products work very well and easy to install, just need some basic tools (hammer, drill, screwdriver, etc.), and reasonable knowledge of computers.

This is so nice. I dont worry about my camera being charged. Works so good even in winter wheather, i love it! I know for sure my cameras will be working while I'm away from home
