After spending a year dealing with dead batteries, climbing ladders to change them every week or two, I spent the $100 to get a pair of them, one for each of my front cameras. They installed with little trouble (I did have a sync issue with one camera that forced me to reset it) less than 1 hour after I got them home, and after nearly 4 weeks, my camera batteries are --- wait for it --- completely full! Goal accomplished. OK, they are kind of noticeable and don't exactly blend in but they do their job. I live in CA so maybe I get more sun than most, but for now, it appears they have stopped me from having to get the ladder out for the foreseeable future. One tip - don't install the panel too close to the camera, because you might easily find that the panel blocks part of your view. Don't ask how I know that.

Keeps my Ring charged 24/7 . Also a great way to save time not having to change batteries all the time. I totally recommend getting these for your outside Ring cameras

Awesome. Mounted it with a Ring outdoor Camera. No need to worry about climbing on latter to remove and charge the camera’s battery. A quick glance at the app on my phone lets me know the camera’s battery is fully charged all the time.

i added this to my stick up cam battery to keep the charge up. it has a long cable so you dont have to put it right beside the camera. it keeps the battery fully charged even when not in 100% direct sunlight. very easy to install and connect

Excellent. You just set it up in an area that gets a few hours of direct sunlight and then you can basically forget about it because it does its job which is to supply continuous power to our Ring camera.

Easy to set up and provides sufficient length for the power cable. Bracket provides various positioning and so far has kept my Ring camera battery at 99%.

I have used it for almost 6 months now and I ordered two more as well.. I don’t need to charge my stick up cameras every now and then this makes the cameras battery always hundred percent full.

excellent addition to the ring camera, it may take a few days to top up the battery of the stick up cam, but once it is full, it will keep it at 100% especially if it receives sunlight on a daily

Installed this in order to keep the battery on my Ring Spotlight Camera charged. It's a little more than 3 weeks in and the battery has remained at 100% or close to it. Can't ask for more than that.

Solar panel really helps to not have to charge or have the camera hardwired.

Great solar efficiency, as long as it gets constant diredt sunlight. Almost never have to replace the battery on my camera with this thing attached.

This was a new item for us...It works great! It is in a sunny area. We no longer have to charge batteries often during the freeze months. We have a camera outside to keep an eye on our livestock.

This really has been keeping my cam at 100% charged and don't need to use 2 batteries. Working fine with 1 battery. Make sure that battery is fully charged being final install and setup.

Must have for wire free set ups. Fully charge battery before inserting and plug in solar panel. Over 18 months on one camera and never missed a beat. Great addition to Ring set up!

I read the reviews and understand some people had difficulties. I just don't see how. I could have installed this easily back when I was in 1st grade! Now, I live in a sunny climate, but it works great! I never have to worry about battery. The only catch I had was some kind of programming glitch whereby it took 18 to 24 hours for my Ring app to recognize the new higher battery level. I had the same problem when I installed plug in cords to my indoor stick up cams. Anyway, now that the glitch is over, all my cams stay charged on their own and I would highly recommend this product.

Associate told me this would work with Ring spotlight cam, but it doesn’t…different ports. Not to worry, hooked it up to my stickup cam and it works great!

We have not had any problems with the solar panel for our ring camera.
