The Solo Mesa XL is a solid fire-it. Works well with lots of flame. The only issue (not really)n is that it goes through wood or pellets rather quickly.

I was skeptical at first about purchasing this Solo Stove. I must say that I was surprised. This is very easy to use. For it to be the size that it is, it heats the area where I have it very well. This is definitely worth the purchase.

Love this little thing! Fires start pretty easily. Big enough for a couple people to roast marshmallows

I bought this as a gift for my friend that loves his full sixed solo stove but wanted one to use under an awning. This fit the bill. It gives off good heat for the size and sticks to its solostove name with being smokeless. If you have limitations on size i would definitely recommend

This is the perfect size for patio top table. Puts off enough heat and gives the ambiance of a larger fire.

Great Small but Very Effective Firepit. Very Easy to Make Fire Running.

It does give off a decent amount of heat, even with how small it is. Perfect for our little metal bistro table and chairs set. We use the pellets and have used small sticks when out of the pellets.

I think the XL is the perfect size for most table tops. In my case, it was just that. Little to no smoke produced and had the wife and kids outside making smores the first night it came in.

The fire pit came promptly and was very easy to set up. I have only used it once. I used a home made starter in the bottom and then added small limbs to fill the bucket. It caught it easily and quickly made a nice little fire. I didn’t think it gave out a lot of heat, but it has a nice cozy, feeling to sit on the table, without starting up the big fire pit cleanup was a breeze just emptied the ash. If you are going to use your own word, you do need to make sure it is cut into short pieces.

I love our solo stove mesa XL, we use it on our patio table and it fits perfect! We used both pellets and wood but i will say i prefer wood the best
