While these did exactly that it also reduced the bass coming from the speaker. Just keep that in mind.

Adds a little extra kick to that low end on the in celling sonance speaker. Bought a total of 7. Only drawback is I wished that they came in individual and not just a pair.

Also seal against sound leakage through ceiling. Only downside is that they are somewhat overpriced for a piece of plastic

This enclosure solved the problem and allowed placing the insulation around and over the speaker without worry. Well made, includes gasket and screws along with two sets of binding posts--I guess if you wanted to bi-amp for some reason. Creates a sealed enclosure that doesn't affect the sound. If you own the speakers, you should invest in these enclosures.

Great for added bass

My previous house did not have these and I can definitely tell a difference. Must have addition if you get in ceiling speakers.

It’s A LOT of money to end up with an extra. I think SONOS should have integrated the enclosure on their own speakers to avoid an additional purchase.

These rear baffle enclosures not only keep sound out of unwanted rooms but make the Sonance speakers they are installed on sound so much better!
