I've had a Sonance sub for the last 20 years, It was the 10-150 (10" 150watts). It was a un-ported monster that weighed in at 45 lbs in piano black. About 8 years ago it stopped working and I had a local electronics repair shop fix it (replaced all the power supply caps). Well it died again and just wanted to get something new. This Sonance sub is actually a smaller footprint but same size woofer and a much more powerful amp. I like unported subs because to be they are a tighter sound without the booming of huffing the ported style has. BB had them on sale at 1/2 price and nothing available was this good and in the price range. Very happy with this sub. It can really give the room a blast if so desired. This sub is actually made just for BB by Sonance. You wont find it anywhere else. Buy it if it's on sale !

Sounds great. I bought it for the size. It fit perfectly in my space that I had for it.

I bought this speaker to complete my new surround system. In the past I have always used Polk speakers. This Sonance subwoofer sounds great. It looks great too. The finish on the cabinet looks high end. It has a lot of power for its size and is not bulky. It fit nicely into a small space.

Happy with purchase. Sounds great in my 200 sq. ft. sunroom. Provides plenty of bass for this size room. It's pretty compact compared to the subwoofer it replaced.

Added a second Sonance to my Denon AV system to replace a lower powered sub that was not capable of keeping up with the other subs, a 1000w sub on 1 and the first Sonance on sub-2. My bass is now very well defined and very low frequencies are present that were becoming muddy from lack of power from the one I replaced.

Decided to add a second unit to my basement theater. I now use as stands for my other front speakers; basically making a pair of tower speakers. Sound is great. Compact size yet solid bass. In both cases purchased when on sale.

Excellent addition to top off my in-wall surround speaker set up. Moved into a home with existing sonance in-wall speakers, and this sub really brought it to the next level.

Nice subwoofer for the price. Tight deep bass. Customer service is the best. Had a pin broke on the grill and they sent a new one right away.

I picked up this subwoofer after having used a few different Definitive Technology subs. I was happy with them but wanted to give Sonance a shot since I have the Sonance in-wall speakers. I am seriously impressed. The sound that comes out of this sub especially for the price (299.99 on sale) just can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Smaller but very powerful. Works awesome in my 14’x14’ foot room.

This is a great subwoofer for a bedroom. If you are using it in a medium size living room, I recommend purchasing two. The bass is tight and clear, not boomy at all. I don't listen at high volume in my bedroom so I can't speak about distortion. The subwoofer footprint is small. It looks better than most subwoofers. It has weight and feels solid. If you purchase at the sale price, you will be satisfied with your purchase.

Love the quality fo build and sound. Only issue was auto sensing trigger from PC would not trigger. Worked fine with AVR but with our gaming PC it just would not trigger wake up from source.

The is clear and pretty loud for a 10” woofer the sound is great for a small woofer

wow... yeah, expensive but WORTH every penny! I use it in my bedroom actually, where I have ceiling speakers and under the bed, I have this sub. Yeah, I love listening LOUD and powerful music in EVERY room, and now my bedroom is jamming! The bass is tight! POWERFUL, and very enjoyable! I would say, for Audio - this was best buy for me! Hence BestBuy! :)

This small sub replaced my years old Polk in cabinet woofer. This smaller sized woofer exeeds the bass performance of my polk by a lot. Especially on movies. Perfect size and quality for my small (500 sq ft) home theater set up.
