It sounded overpriced, but I needed a reliable, powerful amp for 2 additional zones. I previously had a HEOS amp paired to my Marantz 8012. The HEOS was underpowered, and the network connection was quirky. Now that my Sonance amp has been installed, I love it! I prefer the reliability of the wired connection it has. Most of all, it has a lot of great, clean power.
