I got this for my twelve year old. It is pretty sturdy. Was able to hold all of her books. I did end up mounting it to the wall for extra security. We put it together in about 30 minutes. It was a good purchase for the money.

Super cute bookshelf. I was worried it was a bit too juvenile, but I get lots of compliments on this piece. I ordered it with Handy assembly, which made life pretty easy. The person who helped me out was able to assemble the shelf quickly. I even loved it so much, I bought a second one a few months later!
