This stand is prettier and stronger than its price reflects. Paid $550 and it was well worth it. Takes at least 2 hours to assemble, but no big deal.

Better than most veneer TV stands on the market.

It's a very nice TV stand and perfect for my needs. It has plenty of open compartments as well as two sizeable compartments behind decorative glass doors. Most TV stands are too small or do not have enough open compartments, which make it much easier to use IR remote controls and change out media in A/V equipment. Those that do have adequate open compartments tend to not have any closed compartments.
Advice:
- It's not hard to assemble, but it is a heavy package, so handle with care.
-Pick up some extra wood glue. They include a small bottle, but I ran out towards the end. Fortunately, I always keep wood glue handy.
- Be careful when mounting the thin panels on the back. The holes on the back panels will line up more toward the inside wall of the side panels. Consequently, the veneer will split and break on the inside when you try to drive the screws in. Make it a point to drill small pilot holes (about 1/16" will do), at an slight angle towards the outside of the side panels first, and everything will be fine.
- Also, make sure you have a flat bladed screwdriver handy. The cam locks are made of relatively soft metal and do not stand up to the small hex wrench included with the hardware, when you torque them into the locking position. A screwdriver works much better.

This shipped so fast. I bought it on Tuesday evening and it arrived at my house by Friday evening. The assembly was fairly easy, I was working in close quarters, which made it more challenging that it should have been. This looks great, stylish, modern, durable. I have no complaints about this purchase. I was originally looking a brown one, but this black one came available and my wife and I absolutely love it. Plenty of component space. I am contemplating the optional fireplace, but I have not yet found it on Best Buy, so maybe it is not sold there. All in all this is very nice and is easy enough to maneuver by myself if needed (when no loaded with items). Thank you Best Buy and Sonax! Very nice! Absolutely recommend this to anyone. I was thinking of purchasing Magnolia Home Theater TV Stand, but I didn't want to spend the money on it. This was the next best thing that we found to fit our liking. WIN!

great tv stand pretty easy to put it together minus the fact the last couple of steps are very confusing and not easy to put together. other than that only takes an hour or two to put together. looks great and has an optional fireplace for the middle.
