Lots of great gameplay. My son loves this game. Sonic is faster than ever!

Ok so this game is great no debate with that. Always been a Sonic fan over a Mario fan and can confidently say that this is one of the better Sonic's since Sonic Adventure 2 in my opinion. However, the reason to why I gave it a 3/5 is not because of the game but because of the Switch Version. If you want to play this game and only have a Switch, this is your only option. But if you have a PS5 or an Xbox Series X, get it on one of those consoles instead. I love Playstation, but this game looks it's best on the Series X. I have this game on the Series X and decided since I didn't see anyone complain about the graphics of it on the Switch, that I would get it for the Switch too. The portability just made me get it. After playing it some on my OLED I thought, wow, this looks terrible. The game is playable and cutscenes are ok, but it feels like I'm playing a PS2 game on a big HDTV and you probably know what that looks like, not great. If you have a Switch and want to play this game you should still get it because it's a great game, but this game was not made for the Switch in mind so just remember that. Get it on PS5 or Xbox Series X. Cannot stress that enough. So basically I would not recommend getting this on the Switch. Only get it on the Switch unless you're ok with much lower graphics and performance and that's all you have.

This is a great game. Definitely worth the purchase and great Christmas gift.

My son love this game. I bought this game for the second time which they can plsy on nitendo switch. Last year i bought it for my xbox s which was different to instal and ended up returning it. I was do happy to with nitendo play.

I always like collecting games on my Switch over other platforms. If you want to get this game buy it on Playstation or PC over the Switch version. There are too many issues with it, but this is probably because the Switch is underpowered.

Really fun. Just a bit hard sometimes to finish and go to next stage.

I bought this for my wife and she likes it a lot. It’s a Sonic open world game that kinda reminds me of the game that came out for Sega Saturn. Don’t expect it to be anything like the classic Sonic. The controls take some getting used to.

I really loved playing Sonic games growing up, especially Sonic Adventure 2. Really enjoyed binging this game through the end of my school program and was a great stress reliever.

I bought this for my 7 year old nephew and he loved it. Just based on watching him play, I imagine I’d like it too. It looks like it would appeal to anyone who likes Sonic or open world games.

Best Sonic game I have played to date. The music was awesome and the gameplay was great. The only thing that stops it from being a 5/5 is the switch could not handle rendering this game. I’d recommend playing on Xbox/PS5/PC if you’re a hardcore gamer. Isn’t game breaking but will make tasks easier with higher FPS and render distance.

My seven year old is obsessed with Sonic, and was so excited when he got this game. He plays it on the tv in the living room, and watching him brings me back to the original Sonic I played as a child.

Although I prefer the sidescrollers of Sonic, Frontiers was a nice experimental addition to the series. I liked playing it! I still have yet to beat it and see the free dlc add ons but I'll get there eventually!

My son loves this game. He used to watch someone play on the internet and now that he has it he can't stop playing.

Better than I expected, I am about half way through the game and their hasn't been any huge surprises, but the game play is pretty smooth. It keeps your attention just enough to keep going, but at least like past sonic titles it flows very freely.
