Amazing game. Nothing beats the feeling of running super fast around a big open area, launching yourself off bumps and rails, and sending yourself flying. Combat is amazing. This is the best writing in any Sonic game since 2008. There are some technical issues like pop-in, but it didn't bother me at all. The game is just so fun that I had to buy a second copy for my best friend to play for themself. This is definitely in my top ten favorite games. Side note, BEAUTIFUL photo mode!

I was wary of performance when contemplating getting a PS4 copy of this game, but it runs great. If you’re concerned about any compromise for the platform, it is minimal. Also, the game is awesome, if that’s a concern too. I highly recommend it. I’ve only encountered one serious glitch, in which I fell through the ground after parrying an enemy attack on the first island, but nothing similar has happened before or since. It has its problems but they rarely badly interfered with the experience. It’s definitely worth playing if you’re interested.

I'm so glad I picked up Sonic Frontiers for my PlayStation 4! This game is a blast to play and it's perfect for fans of the classic Sonic games. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is fast-paced and exciting. I've been playing for hours and I'm still not bored. Pros: Great graphics Fast-paced gameplay Exciting challenges Open-world exploration Lots of content to keep you busy Cons: Can be a bit repetitive at times Overall, I highly recommend Sonic Frontiers PlayStation 4 to anyone looking for a fun and challenging action-adventure game. It's a great addition to my PS4 library and I'm sure I'll be playing it for years to come.

Really fun game, the boss battles are extremely fun and they have huge health bars to deplete with fun attacks, there is a lot to do in the game, lots of fun running around the world maps, my only complaint is the Extremely Annoying Black Bars at the top and bottom of the screen during the cutscenes, If you enjoy Sonic the Hedgehog games you will enjoy this game.

As a lifelong fan of the Sonic series, starting in the early 2000's with Sonic X. This game really delivers on what it set out to do, with bringing back the vibe & ambition the series had in the 2000's up until Black Knight's launch in 2009. The stories a perfect blend of the deeper themes the games have been lacking since Colors. Diving deeper into the lore, characters getting some actual character development for the 1st time in years, and easily THE best Super Sonic fights in the entire franchise! And that's on top of how smooth Sonic is to control compared to the rest of the series! There's a couple, tiny annoyances here & there. But nothing major. This game is SO good, and I highly recommend it for any Sonic fan, especially with DLC that adds a new story + Knuckles, Tails & Amy as playable characters later this year!

I honestly didnt think I'd like this game as much as I did but I've spent several hours going through the obstacles and levels. It can get a bit tedious at time collecting the memory fragments but the mini boss fights, the big bosses, and the levels are beyond fun. Very easy to recommend.

I grew up playing sonic the hedgehog games on sega genesis and was super excited when I saw this was coming out. I’m not very far into the game yet but so far I’m loving it. Graphics are great and it brings back lot’s of memories of the old sonic games. Very happy with this!

If you're debating on getting this, it does not disappoint! Beautiful graphics, great lore, and engaging storyline with insightful character moments. Is reminiscent of older Sonic with that shonen feel, and the new characters in this game are impactful. Only thing to make it 110% would be having Blaze in the game. But that's very minor criticism.

Gave this as a gift to my son. Is now his favorite Sonic game. Fun for the whole family.

Although not the best Sonic entry, it's really cool to see the Blue Blur in an open environment being able to just run around and do almost anything ! I do wish there was more to it but too repetitive. But definitely something good for a sonic fan !

With so many games that are inappropriate, this one is a breath of fresh air. I don’t have to be concerned my 7 year old will be exposed to mature content and it is fun to play as well.

A game with some flaws but is a great start and new direction for Sonic. This game will be remembered as a change for things for the better for this series. I'm so proud of this series and the game. The game plays well and despite its technical issues. The story is new and fresh giving you a chance to take the characters more serious. It's not groundbreaking but very effective storytelling.
