This game is no different. Only, this time it doesn't deserve the hate. This is not only good for a sonic game, it's just good in general. It does have a reasonable share of jank though. People talk about the horrible pop in they have while running through the open world, but I oddly didn't experience it at all. The voice acting and cutscenes aren't very good, and neither is the story. But hey, it's a sonic game. These things never really had great stories anyways. The main thing is, it's something different than the previous games, and it mostly holds up.

I found it listed at great sale price just about everywhere. Unfortunately, it was also listed as out of stock everywhere too. Beat buy to the rescue again! Found a Christmas list item at the sale price in stock and delivered to my my doorstep in 2 days! I love Best Buy for Christmas!!
