Customers are positive about Sonic Frontiers' gameplay, particularly praising the open world and its accompanying action RPG elements. The music and story also receive significant praise, with many citing them as highlights of the game. However, customers are negative about the game's price point for some, and some also mentioned issues with pop-in and level design. While some control and difficulty issues were noted, the overall reception leans towards positive.

A continuation of the Sonic Saga with wide open worlds along with the occasional jump back to side-scrolling. I like the game and have fun playing it.

Sonic Frontiers tries to adapt the modern Sonic formula into a broader open world setting (kind of). Sometimes it works, and other times it's mundane. You'll end up doing a lot of similar tasks while exploring the open environments. Sometimes they're 2.5D levels scattered around the map and other times it's a challenge that makes a basic puzzle from the Zelda series look like one of the traps in the Saw movies. There's some more traditional Sonic levels you can play through, but most of them are just fragments from those found in previous games. It's also lacking some of the appeal from past Sonic games, like the themed levels (like casino, snow, industrial, etc), and the energetic soundtrack is largely gone. Instead you can find songs from older games scattered throughout the open areas, but it doesn't hit the same.

Okay lets get this straight sonic in the most recent years has been not the best but honestly this might be a turning point. The game play’s amazing. Controls are fluent and it isn’t full automated like sonic forces. I would guve this a full 5 stars but the only thing is cyberspace. Cyberspace sucks it feels like sonic forces but worse. Some if the stages you can tell has the same layout from a diffrent stage in a diffrent sonic game but it has green hill textures on it and they only used 4 different layouts green hill (witch is like half the stages), chemical plant, and some jankass ripoff capital city from sonic unleashed honestly if it wasnt for that the game would be 5⭐️

Like many I was skeptical about Sonic Frontiers, but after watching a few non-spoiler reviews, I decided to give it a chance. I can say confidently now that I’m glad I did, because it really turned out better than expected! It may not be the most polished or cutting edge, but it is simply one of the most fun video games I’ve played in a long time. If there’s DLC or another iteration in the works, absolutely count me in!

as a long time Sonic the Hedgehog fan, this title is one of the most ambitious titles released. the music is incredible, feature Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, has lots of versatility for people who prefer different settings, and lots of side content to enjoy. recommended for grown-ups and kids as well. i admit it’s not worth full price. therefore, i recommend getting this for your child during Christmas season when the price drops.

After 28 hours into sonic frontiers I can officially say I had a good and fun time with the game sure there might be Some jank here and there with some things but if you use it to your advantage the game gets interesting. Since I played on hard mode some of the enemies were kind of easy but later on during the game they got harder and I can appreciate that I keep dying left and right at the last island.

I was skeptical at first for this titles thinking it was just a Breath of the Wild rip off, but actually playing btw game showed it a more than a similar game. The opened world game play and combat with sonic somehow works and I wanted more. The upgrade system is a little on the small side but the game makes up for it. The sound track is definitely one of the heavier ones but more than welcomed.

Honestly the best sonic game in a long time and being the first open world they did it right! The pacing was pretty great, you can create different melee combos as you unlock more skills and find differents ways ro finish world and zone bosses! Well worth it and wity preorder you also got the steel box which is just awesome! Great job sonic team!
