The games pretty good, and will get rid of your need to play a Sonic game that isn’t old or fan-made. This game has its ups and downs, but for being the latest installment of the mainline Sonic series, it does stand out in a few parts. Cons: Physics feels a bit wonky, especially when playing Cyber Space levels, as all your upgrades in free roam are absent. The levels while they look unique, they are heavily based off of older levels, and while this may be a positive for some, others would rather have more original level designs. Strong pop-in during the open world segment The hedgehog has short quills again. Pros: It’s a new Sonic game Visually, the game looks amazing. The music is the best thing in the entire game. Sonic has beautiful blue fur that looks like felt

If you’re looking for a great game to keep you entertained for hours on end, Sonic Xbox is the perfect choice. Not only is it fun and exciting, but Best Buy has an amazing price point that can’t be beat. Whether you’re new to gaming or consider yourself a pro, Sonic Xbox is sure to impress.

I am very satisfied with this game so far. Not every 3D Sonic game is a winner but Sonic Frontiers certainly is. Managed to get it on sale so that was even better.

The game is fun to play. Using a jig-saw puzzle like map to navigate through new terrain for Sonic to explore, engagment in battle with nemesis. This game has 360 degree camera paning for a free play in 3D. Nice graphics, fast pace Sonic style! I own several Sonic Hedgehog games and this one is a new addition to the set.

Excellent return to form and complete experience, recapturing the ambition Sonic games once had in the early 2000s. There is constantly things to do and look for in the open zones, the puzzles and minibosses within don't overstay their welcome. The combat, while simple is flashy and it's satisfying to string skills together after expanding the skill tree. Cyberspace levels are addictive and fun despite controls being a bit off-putting at first. The story told here, while a bit anticlimactic has amazing moments of growth that serve as reparations for past games. The presence of pop-in for elements in the open zones and reuse of only 4 environmental themes in cyberspace were disappointing, but largely forgotten about while playing. Few games this year have captured the joy Sonic Frontiers has for me.

Been a Sega and Sonic fan my whole life and this game really hit all the nostalgia spots while introducing modernized gameplay features. Great music, gameplay, world, and story.

Sonic Frontiers is amazing. Little hiccups in the controls sometimes but not enough to ruin the gameplay overall. Big open worlds to explore

Honestly i really enjoyed this game so at first i wasnt liking it but the more i played the more i started to enjoy it the story is pretty good the sonic games havent been the best for a while now and i feel like this really brought the sonic brand of games back to how it used to be with Sonic Adventure and Adventure 2 i 100% recommend this game its amazing

I haven't played video games in awhile and I noticed things have changed alot in the industry. Sonic Frontiers is unique because now Sonic the Hedgehog has fancy new attack moves. I have not completed the game yet but based on what I saw on YouTube reviews, the game has a great storyline. I highly recommend this game.

I was pleasantly surprised after playing this sonic game. Open world transition caught me off guard when it was first announced but I'm pleased to say it worked perfectly. The game plays great overall and is easily my second favorite sonic game behind SA2.

Its beem awhile since we had a great 3D entry and theyve nailed it this time. Great story, improved character development, improved controls and gameplay, and one of the best soundtracks around puts this game in the game of the year talks for sure.

Honest Sonic Fan Review: This game is the best sonic game I have played since Sonic Mania (2D) and Sonic Generations (3D). The physics have improved drastically it feels like the sonic adventure days. The graphics are decent and looks good, there is pop in but I think they did it so the world didn't look super cluttered. Once you play it you will know what I mean, for some people it might be annoying but didn't bother me since its not pop in for all the platforms. The store is a bit stale but better than the previous games, its a step in the right direction. The gameplay is always wanted in a sonic game, I think this the future for the sonic era. overall I give this game a 85/100 Pros: Great Physics Graphics are decent ( Xbox Series X) Gameplay is super fun Cons: Pop In Story line is a bit stale Best sonic game in a while, they are heading in the right direction
