Its beem awhile since we had a great 3D entry and theyve nailed it this time. Great story, improved character development, improved controls and gameplay, and one of the best soundtracks around puts this game in the game of the year talks for sure.

Honest Sonic Fan Review: This game is the best sonic game I have played since Sonic Mania (2D) and Sonic Generations (3D). The physics have improved drastically it feels like the sonic adventure days. The graphics are decent and looks good, there is pop in but I think they did it so the world didn't look super cluttered. Once you play it you will know what I mean, for some people it might be annoying but didn't bother me since its not pop in for all the platforms. The store is a bit stale but better than the previous games, its a step in the right direction. The gameplay is always wanted in a sonic game, I think this the future for the sonic era. overall I give this game a 85/100 Pros: Great Physics Graphics are decent ( Xbox Series X) Gameplay is super fun Cons: Pop In Story line is a bit stale Best sonic game in a while, they are heading in the right direction

While the game can be janky at times in movement and visuals, I still think that the game is very good. The openworld is fun, the story is interesting enough and the dialogue between characters is the best its ever been. If you come in with the right expectation of an uneven experience you are going to have a fantastic time.

Well i wanted this game to see what was all the talk about. It was a basic platformsr with Sonic added to the world. A few things did surprise me but i am just glad i didny pay full price.

This such a great sonic game and although not perfect it’s a lot of fun with a bit of a learning curve

this game has a ton of pop in and if that will bother you buyer beware. If it will not, this is such a blast to play and the music during boss fights is absolutely incredible. It will not be for everyone, but Sonic is definitely back.

My kids have enjoyed having a sonic free roam game. It's nice being able to showcase sonics speed in a big open world.

I've played a lot of Sonic games but this one by far is my favorite and that is saying a lot because Shadow is my favorite Hedgehog.

My kid loved this game he played it as often as I would allow. (I monitor screen time) The times I played it with him was super fun it gave me that old school feel with a new school twist.

This is like turn out to be the best 3D Sonic ever where you can explore worlds, upgrade your combat, and so much more. This is like a love letter to all the Sonic fans, myself included, to show appreciation for Sonic.
