The openworld is fun, the story is interesting enough and the dialogue between characters is the best its ever been. If you come in with the right expectation of an uneven experience you are going to have a fantastic time.

It was a basic platformsr with Sonic added to the world. A few things did surprise me but i am just glad i didny pay full price.

If it will not, this is such a blast to play and the music during boss fights is absolutely incredible. It will not be for everyone, but Sonic is definitely back.

(I monitor screen time) The times I played it with him was super fun it gave me that old school feel with a new school twist.
