The best Sonic game since Sonic Generations, and the statue is great

Besides the game being amazing, the quality of the statue is great.

Just like the original games. Has that classic style level thought.

Great game so far and the statue looks great. Was surprised how big it actually was. A must for any Sonic fan.

I was on the fence about getting the special edition but I'm glad I did. The statue is HUGE and bigger than you expect. Sonic looks fantastic and the Genesis base is great too, though a little cheaper than I expected--it's hollow plastic which makes sense but your brain assumes it's harder plastic because it's a Genesis replica. The ring is nice and weighty, the card... exists but I don't see any use for it. The Genesis cartridge is nice and very close to the shape and size of the originals! The outer box is nice but it's really just a protective box for the inner, nicer box. The inner box opens from the front and lets you view all your stuff. The statue can chime "Segaaaa!" if you put batteries in it which is awesome though the volume slider is just there for show. If you open it up you can also attach a wire simply to have the LED turn on. All that aside, Sonic Mania is amazing, obviously. Get this if you can but if you can't, don't miss out on that fantastic game.

The Sonic Mania Collector's Edition boxset is a great collector for any Sonic fan. The Plastic Statue is well made with great colors and paint used, light to carry and looks great on any shelf. The cartridge ring case looks authentic and is very slick. Overall it's a great package.

I haven't played the game yet, since it's a Christmas gift. But the package is astonishing and cool. And this is coming from a Mario fan from the height of the console wars. As a collector's package, it's awesome. I hear the game is very solid also. I'll let you know in December.

If you love sonic games you will love this game not just because this is like retro 2D classic sonic but because this game is a blast to play and this game is 100% worth your $20 also if you are just a huge fan of sonic and like collectibles you will love the collectors edition

Statue is a very good size and looks great. Really captures the iconic design of Sonic. Game cartridge with ring also looks great. Game itself has been awesome so far.

This game is amazing. So many fees! If you grew up playing sonic on sega genesis like I did then this game is perfect for you. The new 3D sonic has nothing on the original 2D. As for the collects edition, it's just as awesome! Although it's bigger than I expected.

Sonic is back! It is a great game with a mixture of everything that made So ic great! Any Sonic on the Genesis fan won't be disappointed! The extras are ok. Wish there was a physical copy of the game (only a digital code) but gameplay more than makes up for it

SEGA finally allowed Sonic fans to work on a legitimate Sonic the Hedgehog game and Sonic Mania is what we got. Not only is it a good Sonic game, it's also an amazing experience for any platform fan. Pick it up immediately if you love fun and a good time.

The game is great and while it would have been better to have a physical card, the download works just fine. Statue and the other items are great, but watch out when opening the cartridge to get to the coin, mine stuck a bit. Nice item and very large!

Very cool statue of old school Sonic standing on a Genesis. I have it next to my tv it looks awesome. Cartridge looks cool and and comes with a ring. Wish it came with an artbook or soundtrack. Nevertheless still a great Collector's edition to own.

I have always loved sonic and this is sonic at his best. The statue is a little cheaply made but also a lot bigger than I had anticipated so it works out for me. If you enjoyed old 2D side scrolling Sonic back in the day you will love this game.

This is the best 2D sonic game since Sonic 3!! Such a great game!

What isn't cool about Sonic Mania? It has old levels, new levels, it comes with a statue and a Genesis cart. What more could you ask for? Maybe more new levels? Fine, it would be perfect with more new levels, that's it's only flaw.

I expected a little figure on a small version of the original sega but upon receiving it it was much bigger than expected but in a good way. Real size replica of sega and real size of game great product to add to my collection.

Best one yet. Leave it to going back to retro and letting fans make your game to have the best one they ever made in a long time! Must have must get. Definitely worth the cost for the extras!
