comes in big box, collectors edition is great for my collection

I Thought will be a small toy but it is not. It looks amazing.

Great revival and this is a sweet nostalgic collectors edition

The sonic statue is cool but the Genesis base seems kind of cheaply made. Just handle it with care and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Classic Sonic style developed for a new game is fantastic. Authentic music, graphics, and gameplay with added features that don't stray away from the Classic formula. Seeing this in 2017 is definitely satisfying. Along with that, a collector's edition at a very solid price point for what you are getting makes it even better. Great job, Sega.

If you are a fan of 2D Sonic, this is a no brainer to buy!

Sonic Mania is exactly what we've been waiting for. It's the sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles that we've all been waiting for. Amazing music, wonderful levels with many different paths, and fun bosses. With 3 different characters who all have unique abilities, a time trial mode, and mode unlockables, you'll be playing for hours upon hours.

This is probably the best 2d sonic game since the 90s.

Feels like I'm back in 1992 with this amazing game.

I pre ordered this as a christmas gift last minute not realizing it would be as popular as it was & sold out everywhere. I was expecting a small plastic figure but received so much more! The Sega system the 12 inch Sonic figure is standing on is very true in detail. The recipient was very pleased when opened.

I loved almost everything about this set. The contents are good quality and the packaging is cool. I would like to rate it higher than just 4 stars. But 2 reasons why I don't think it should have 5. Personally I prefer a physical media. I wish it wasn't just a download code packed in the set. Also the speaker that plays the Sega sound. Cool idea but felt lacking to me. If you were gonna go through that trouble, why not play the opening theme from sonic too? Not something I will keep batteries in to use.

Love the classic game styling and the statue of sonic. My only complaint is that the game is digital only, no hard copy.

The Sonic Mania Collector's Edition boxset is a great collector for any Sonic fan. The Plastic Statue is well made with great colors and paint used, light to carry and looks great on any shelf. The cartridge ring case looks authentic and is very slick. Overall it's a great package.

I haven't played the game yet, since it's a Christmas gift. But the package is astonishing and cool. And this is coming from a Mario fan from the height of the console wars. As a collector's package, it's awesome. I hear the game is very solid also. I'll let you know in December.

If you love sonic games you will love this game not just because this is like retro 2D classic sonic but because this game is a blast to play and this game is 100% worth your $20 also if you are just a huge fan of sonic and like collectibles you will love the collectors edition

Was hoping for cartridge, but came with digital download. Trinkets are neat but probably not worth it.

Sonic is back! It is a great game with a mixture of everything that made So ic great! Any Sonic on the Genesis fan won't be disappointed! The extras are ok. Wish there was a physical copy of the game (only a digital code) but gameplay more than makes up for it

Excellent game that perfectly captures the 90's Sonic feel. Filled with an amazing number of easter eggs and throwbacks to the previous Sonic titles on the Genesis. The statue is also pretty good quality. Easy to take apart and mod as well. :)
