This Sonic game really is the closest we'll get to the old school Sega Genesis Sonic games. The music and graphics are great and are a great throwback to the old games. I appreciate that Sega took this route with this game and this is the first Sonic game I have bought in a long time.

Ive beat every Genesis Sonic and can say this is as good as those. In some ways even better. Each world has a remixed original stage followed by a completely new one. There's lots of levels and plenty of playable characters to choose from. It's a must own for any old school Sega fan.

Sonic Mania Plus is truly an amazing game that is true to the classic Sonic games and is filled to the brim with nostalgia and great game-play. It doesn't stop with just the game itself. The holographic box, art book, and reversible cover make this a true masterpiece.

This is an awesome game, my 7 year old loves it and he thinks Sonic is the coolest character! I even like the game its a throw back to when I played Sonic way back when! Also to price is right! Most new games are $50 to $60 and this one was around $25. Perfect!

This game is the most quality 2d sonic game to come along in a long time. Reminiscent of sonic CD but with even more delights and polish across the board. This physical version contains additional characters and challenges that the original digital did not.

Really great game that simply outdoes the original games on the genesis and even - dare I say - sonic cd. Just an all around great game with lots of great nostalgic content. Opening scene is very reminiscent of 90s sonic cartoons.

This port of the game is the best you can likely get right now. For 30 bucks you get a decent artbook and the cart. The game itself is very solid and this version comes with extra characters. It runs smoothly on the switch and has increased eye appeal in the handheld mode. Controls are tight and the characters handle like a dream. I've already sank more hours into this version than I have my other and I'm not even that big of a sonic fan. I'd say it's a must own for any switch owner who likes platformers.

This game comes with all the DLC from Sonic Mania for the Switch. Love the portability and ability to play multiplayer! Game came with an awesome mini-artbook and the sleeve has an awesome reflective sheen to it. Excellent release! Worth the wait!

My son and I absolutely have too much fun playing g this game together. I enjoy that he is interested and enjoys retro style games and loves sonic. The brilliant visuals and the new characters just makes it more appealing to him.

Sonic Mania Plus builds up on what the first release nailed so well and goes even further by polishing the gameplay, adding new characters and improving some features. This game is truly a must-have, specially if you're a Sonic fan.

The best Sonic game in years and now physical! They did a great job making a game that truly fits in right after 3 & Knuckles, and the bonus art book on this edition though small is a nice free inclusion for the launch copies.

Easily the most fun I've had with a sonic game since I can't remember when. The stages and music are spot on. And the physical release is great, the cover is reversible, with the other side looking like an old genesis cover.

Mania is old school Sonic at his best. It's Sega Genesis Sonic. It has that exact same feel, but is a totally new game. If you are a fan of old school 2d Sonic, this is the game to get. The price is just right too.

I bought this due to my love for Sonic games I played when I was a kid. I grew up playing all the sonics so this was a no brainer to get for the switch. Game is amazing. The nostalgia can't be beat!

So fun! Love the remixed old levels. Just when I think I know what's coming, there will be an additional enemy or some other twist to keep me on my toes. The new levels are great too! Very creative

This is what I've been waiting for you this is what I was made for I recommend buying this for the switch great game and with the switch you can't take it with you and do a co-op with friends all day.

I really enjoy how they kept the same background design of the levels but updated the level formatting for an interesting twist that makes it more than just a remake that works on a new system. I also really like the new characters they've added and that they've made this a solid state game instead of just a digital download. Great addition to the switch collection!

this is my very first sonic game I have ever played I thought it was a very fun game & especially perfect while playing on the go big plus for the addition of an artbook & very cool cover

I love the work that the developers put into this game and the new characters they added really change up the game. Please buy this so Sega knows that we want more of this type of Sonic game

I bought this a gift for my little brother, he loves Sonic, so this is a great gift for him. Definitely worth the price! All around fun, especially for Sonic lovers.
