Great sonic title and it only ever retails for $20 dollars now before sale def worth a pickup before it’s gone

This is a great 2D Sonic game...that you played last year. Retro 2D sprites, cool level designs, and some new gameplay elements over the base Sonic Mania do make this a quality product but if you already played through Sonic Mania, perhaps consider just getting the $5 DLC. The $30 game is really more for hardcore collectors. If you're in that category, more power to you, but if you're just in the market for a fun Sonic game, I'd recommend just investing in the standalone DLC.

Very fun 2D side scrolling Sonic game. I would probably suggest getting the upgraded Sonic Mania Plus version that comes with additional content.

Kids love this game and violence is minimal which parents appreciate.

Sonic games are not what they used to be. This game however is a good 2D sonic game. The plus version adds two characters and a new mode. If you own the digital Sonic mania you can upgrade it to the plus version. The Xbox One version didn't have the reversible cover that the PS4 and Switch did. Considering you still get a foil slip cover and art-book this is a small complaint.

Think I played this game once or twice, but mainly got it for roommates to play together and it was a good bonding activity

Great game! Feels just like the old school sonic but is a bit more interesting with new characters and some new levels that fit in quite well. At first my kids weren’t that interested because of the graphics but after a few months it’s one of their favorite games.

Bought this because I thought it would be the original games, but it's a little different. The level names are the same and have a lot of the same obstacles but the levels have added villains. It's still very fun which is why I gave it the 4 stars. And I love the new characters.
