Excellent collection to have all mainline 2D Sonic games. Really nice to have the option to play in classic 4:3 or widescreen.

If you are a fan of the classic Sonic games on Sega, this is the collection for you. The game is basically Sonic Origins, but the inside of the case comes with a code to unlock the full experience of playing as Amy, or any of the original Sonic characters, including Tails and Knuckles. I think this game is a must for any Sonic fan, but I suggest anniversary mode, where you have unlimited lives. It also comes with a book that shows the art of Sonic over the years, which is like a collector’s item. It is a 10/10 for me, and a very great game!

A great compilation of classics, this game has 4 16 bit classics revamped and ready to play in the modern era. With no noticeable lag from emulation, all the Sonic games feel snappy and responsive. On top of that, the special stages have been touched up and as a classic Sonic fan, I approve. With Plus, they added a code to play as Amy Rose as well. Her character is different and fun as she uses a hammer in her double jump.

Overall it's a great callback to a early time in my gaming years and definitely brings the memories and enjoyment of playing these games. The one annoyance I have is that for whatever reason Sega didn't put everything on the cartridge even though it was easily possible to do so. Meaning that while Sonic 1,2,3 and CD are on the cartridge the game gear games and Amy DLC are not and have to be downloaded can I ask why?It feels a little cheap of Sega for doing this and while not a deal breaker it still is more then a little annoying. Still at the end of that complaint the collection overall is still a very good one and for the price pretty reasonable. So regardless if you grew up with the iconic blue hedgehog and his friends or are new gamers to this series the entertainment value is here and with a decent amount of games for you to enjoy.

Best Buy has this game for a great price. Old school, original sonic all in one game. You can't go wrong. It ever has the game gear versions plus additional bonus characters

I love the original sonic games and was glad that they are compiled in a good package. Sega tends to re-release the original sonic games every 15 minutes, but this compilation of these games seems like the best way of playing these on the switch and other modern consoles. I am glad Sega has been doing good with Sonic games as of late, and hopefully we get more compilations of classic Sega games that need more attention.

Great game. For the price it is a great deal, I was able to get it on sale for $20. There are multiple sonic games that can be played. It is very nostalgic as I use to play these games as a child. You can even play with two players which makes it fun. It is a old school game so they second player has to follow sonic. The camera does not follow both characters. Still a great game.

I love the new graphics and that it saves your progress as you play. It has brought back some fun memories from the past and I enjoy the new levels too. My kids have played this since we got it because it’s so fun.

If you loved the original 2D Sonic games, this is the game for you. It's like I'm back in 1993 playing the Genesis all over again.

Great game for kids and nostalgic for millennials.

It has a fair share of classics and some unique ones such as Tails Adventures that I personally enjoyed. A few add-ons and playable character (Amy). It's an all-around great collection minus a few things. The little art book is interesting to see the concepts of the characters. If you want the whole thing physically, it comes with a digital code inside that was released recently.
