Finally you can play them all on a portable and they play great. Amy is now playable with super forms,which is a nice addition! Though I will say music is not the highest quality as it sounds more compressed and does not include the original Carnival Night,Ice Cap or Launch Base zone music. I also think most of the extras are lackluster compared to Sonic Mega Collection for the PS2. The Game Gear games are nice,but getting the Sega Genesis versions would be better. All in all worth picking up because these games are so good IF you dont own a previous collection with Sonic 3 & Knuckles or you really love portable gaming.

I dont know if they were upset that the game may be resold and wanted anyone buying second hand to spend an extra $10 but they are essentially double dipping so why not just put all these old games and new character on the physical media they were intended for? Other than that the collection is the same as the downloadable version, but it comes with a decent little art book. Id recomend this to hardcore Sonic fans.
