Sonic fun- but local multiplayer was lacking

Wish multiplayer was better, it sort of pulls you around the screen to keep all players in phase and it’s jarring in practice. This sort of thing is better executed in games such as Mario Wonder.

A perfectly cromulent Sonic game

It's one of the better more recent games in the series, but it still has some issues

The game was alright

Sonic fun with some growing pains

Some boss fights can also be tedious or straight up not fun to battle. And the second campaign with one character can be summed up as pain. Especially their final boss of the campaign overall though if you want some classic sonic goodness I would suggest "sonic origins" but if you're tired of playing that, this overall is fine enough. Not perfect or even great just a big ole ok!
