Buying this movie in 4K was definitely a treat. I absolutely love this movie as a Sonic fan. Jim Carry killed the performance as Robotnik in such an unorthodox way that I didn’t even mind the new design. I definitely had fun with this one.

What can I say, it's sonic the hedgehog. The movie was awesome! I'm not too happy with Jim Carey playing Dr. Robotnic. Could of been a much better performance or another actor. I just didn't feel like it was Dr. Robotnic from the Sega gaming days or the cartoon I grew up with many years ago. Still a great movie and definitely worth buying.

This movie was better than it had any right to be. This was a fun joyride with Jim Carrey not quite reaching his golden standard of 90's films, but being significantly closer than recent years. This movie is still a kid's film, so parents and adults go in knowing that some things will land more with you and others will land more with children.

It’s much better than I thought been a fan of sonic since the first and second game came out when I was kid. I love this film and glad to see Jim Carey back on the tv screen even as a villain. Looking forward to the sequel.

I went into this movie thinking it was going to be pretty mediocre. Most video game movies are. I was mistaken. I thought it was clever, funny and full of heart. The voice actors are great but Jim Carrey was amazing. My kids weren't Sonic fans before but they are now. We got this on sale during Black Friday and it was a killer deal.

This was the last movie we saw before Covid hit, So it holds a special place in our hearts and memories. I really like this movie and didn’t think it was going to be this good and I cannot wait for the sequel to come out. But the truth is I’ve always preferred Nintendo over Sega! LOL

This movie had no right to be as good as it was. Lots of nods and references throughout the movie to various Sonic games and cartoons in the past, story was fun and light-hearted, and Jim Carrey STEALS THE SHOW as Dr. Robotnik. I highly recommend it not just to Sonic fans, but to anyone just looking for something fun to watch. :)

Most people my age (36) remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog. I remember playing it on all sega video game systems..The movie was surprisingly good..it stuck to the fundamentals of the game..i give teo thumbs up to Jim Carrie performance as dr Robotnix I got the steelbox 4k verison..it is sweet with the HDR..Sonic is really blue

One of my sons favorite movies. And it exceeded my expectations as well. The only thing is you better like Jim Carrey since he is the main bad guy so if you are not a fan of his then this may not be for you. However if he doesn't bother you with his over the top antics, this was a great dive into the world of Sega.

I know thats not a very high bar with the many travesties of video game adaptations that have come along. Fresh take on an old character great for the kids and welcome back over the top carey which actually works very well for this film. Ill see sequel in the theaters but you should add this to your collection!

I really enjoyed the movie, & it could be because the era I grew up in, because it was when Sonic was new & just came out for all us. I was skeptical at first, however the movie was awesome I felt, and again this movie would be great for us old people & young ones alike, highly recommend the movie.

Jim Carey shines in this amazing film. I enjoyed seeing Sonic running faster and clearer thanks to the 4K & HDR. The movie was light-hearted and funny but, yet exciting and non-stop action. I recommend this movie to people of all ages as they will all love this incredible film.

Sonic the Hedgehog movies was funny and entertaining! Jim Carrey definitely brought his personality, spunkiness, and eccentric humor to this movie. Along with Jim Carrey, Sonic’s storyline laid out a awesome foundation for the plot of the movie. I can’t wait for part 2.

This movie is simply fun! You don’t even have to be a fan of the classic video games to enjoy it. But, I would say if you are a fan it makes it that much better to see Sonic in live action. Especially the fact they reworked the CGI for the fans! Great action, acting and simply fun!!

Sonic is a fantastic movie for the whole family. Jim Carrey is perfect in his role and Dr. Robotnik and really puts the exclamation point on this movie. I was pleasantly surprised at how much not only my kids enjoyed this movie, but by how much I enjoyed it as well.

This movie was purchased for my granddaughter....a Sonic the Hedgehog Super fan!!! Although we watched this movie at the theater, she was very excited to add this to her video collection. We did initially run into some problems viewing the movie. We did not realize this purchase included the Ultra HD Blu-ray, which did not work in our video player. Fortunately the Blu-ray worked well. Really loved the extra bonus of the comic book!

When Sonic movie was announced i was a little bit scared then i saw it and i was surprised sonic is a grate movie adaptation, It is an awesome family film where kids and adults will enjoy it, it has funny and cool action moments sonic koncks it iut of the park

While I was initially skeptical when I heard this film was being made (and even more so when I saw the initial design for Sonic), I was pleasantly surprised. As long as you check your brain at the door, the film is extremely entertaining, and is family -friendly as well (no bad language tacked on just to be "cool," no sex, no SJW nonsense, etc). The UHD just adds to the PQ if you are properly equipped and calibrated. Very nicely done!

A pleasant surprise! This movie completely surpassed my expectations and thoroughly entertained the family for nearly 2 hours! The comedy is excellent and the actors are purely entertaining! Must own!

Movie made me nostalgic to the early 90s watching Sonic come back to life and in vivid 4K! I had to get the 4K version and the Steelbook as well, thanks to Best Buy! Music was good in this and it was nice to see Jim Carrey in a great movie! Highly recommended!
