My son grew up playing all the Sonic games on different PlayStation platforms (PS2, PS3, and PS4) so it was fun seeing this come to the big screen. Loved how they included names of different lands/levels as well as the sounds from the games in with the storyline.

I’m not the biggest Sonic fan I used to be, but I managed to like this movie. Yeah, there are things that could have been different but if you turn off your brain and watch the movie, you might have a good time.

Surprisingly good family movie and game to movie adaptation. Glad to see James Marsden get a win as a lead with Jim Carrey. My kids love watching this movie and looks great on 4K. Can't wait for the sequel.

I had heard very good things about this movie when it came out in theaters last year. I got this for Black Friday and I absolutely loved it. It seems faithful to the games and every performance was great.

Pick up was so simple. Best Buy really has their system down. Parked, used the app to check in on my phone and they brought it out within 3 minutes. Movie and case we in perfect condition. Kids love it and 4k quality looks amazing.

Anticipating on giving this movie a 5 or 6 rating, I'm giving it a solid 7. This was an enjoyable movie. The live action actors were good (Jim Carey was reasonably restrained which was a good thing) and the Sonic character was spot on (thank goodness the producers listened to the fans and redid the CGI on Sonic. The producers are hoping for a sequel (watch past the end credits). So am I.

When I watched this movie in theaters I was worried that it was going to fall victim to another "great game, terrible movie" trap. When translating video game characters into movie form it doesn't end well but not with this movie.

this was a great movie, Jim Carrey does a great job as Robotnik/ Dr. Eggman, the movie is 98 minutes long, I highly recommend this movie

Fantastic family movie! We watched it in theaters and our kids begged us to buy it right away. They have been waiting for it to release on DVD. We bought it on release day and they have watched it every day since we purchased it!

I thought I might like it a little. I kind of thought from the previews that Sonic was ugly and on the videos he's cute. Well the movie caught my attention from the beginning and it's amazing and I'm 56 !

Better than the sequel. The slipcover is beautiful. Dolby audio sounds incredible. Really took advantage of my atmos sound system.

This was the last film I saw in theatres before the pandemic. Rewatching fills me with this nostalgic feeling that money can’t buy

I bought this one because of the price. My friend told me it would be worth buying and truly funny. My friend wasn’t kidding as this movie is so funny. Truly one of Jim’s new classic movies.

Jim Carrey is a weirdo, but he does a great job in this movie. My daughter has watched this movie dozens of times now. It makes me happy that she wants to go back and play some retro Sonic games now.

Really fun movie highly entertaining see GIF sonic is really really really good the movie is awesome I don’t want to give too much away but the ending definitely has a teaser. A must buy

Great movie and a great buy! This movie out performed another big name film both in the theaters and in Blu-ray sales! That coupled with the fact that it has both 4K and Blu ray versions makes this a perfect buy!

Like seriously what movie can say the went back and re animated the main character because the fans didn’t like it? They killed it! I love the film. It’s a great kids film which makes it even better.

Overall an entertaining and fun family movie. No need to be familiar with the video games to enjoy this movie. Jim Carrey is always great as a goofy character and James Marsden plays the perfect role opposite of him here. Also Ben Schwartz voices Sonic excellently. Definitely can recommend this as a good family movie night movie.

Hilarious. Was not expecting it to be nearly as charming and funny as it ended up being. Bought it for my wife but I loved it too!

Fun movie. Got it on sale or I probably wouldn't have bought it for regular price. I grew up playing Sonic on the Genesis. And I enjoy most of Jim Carreys movies.
