Extremely comfortable and luxurious feeling materials. The sound quality is better than the Som WXM5’s that I came from, with very good noise cancelling that also edges out the Sonys. The ability to switch tv audio with one button press from my Arc based home theater system over to the headphones already came in handy multiple times! The battery life is great, recently lasted an entire day of snowboarding with no issues at all. Pass through audio/transparency mode is good as well. I can’t think of any cons aside from price, but I was able to get a great deal on Black Friday and at 279 they blow Al everything out of the water!

When I first got the Ace, I was a little underwhelmed the volume seemed very low when turned almost all the way up. I use Apple Music as my service of choice and it was trying to push the Atmos codec to the headphones, which it can't use, so after going into the settings and turning off Atmos for Apple Music the volume jumped up to a much better level and the audio was crystal clear. The audio is very balanced and not as bass heavy as my 1000XM3 were. The switching of the audio from a Sonos soundbar, after set up, is quick and works great. I also was recently on a flight and got to test out the ANC and it worked beautifully allowing me to enjoy my music and movies in peace. I think these are great headphones and would definitely recommend them.

I was looking for a set of headphones that would be compatible with my LG TV and Sonos soundbar. For all you LG TV owners with a Sonos soundbars you probably already know that connecting bluetooth headphone/earbuds is a challenge. I ended up grabbing these headphones at the local Best Buy outlet store. I am completely impressed. I can now watch movies/TV headphones and the surround sound is really really good. I usually use my Technics AZ100s when walking my dogs but these are now my go-to headphones. They are comfortable light and they sound really good. If you're a Sonos fan I highly recommend picking them up. They are a bit pricey but again I grabbed them at my local Outlet store

The Sonos Ace is in the top 3 of headphones! They feel great and sound even better. PROS: -noise cancellation -audio -noise pass through -easy controls -comfortable wear These headphones are my go-to pair when I go on flights. The A.N.C. is amazing and effectively drowns out the airplane noise without requiring me to turn the volume up on my movie. The volume and music controls are very easy to use. I have a big head and these still feel comfortable to me over longer periods. CONS: -will make ears sweat a little -The Sonos app did not recognize my headphones at first -Not much audio control compared to Sony and Bose -high price Although these headphones are great, the caveats can seem a little daunting. After a long while, my ears will start to sweat a little. Not a major concern, but a slight discomfort. The Sonos app, of course, still has its issues, and for me, it would not recognize my headphones, and thus, I could not control the EQ. However, there is not much customization available for the audio. The price of these headphones seems a little high, but it is comparable to that of their competition. I got these open box and they were almost brand new. Anything below $400 is a steal for these. In conclusion, these headphones are ideal for students, frequent travelers, or anyone who enjoys listening to music and movies without distractions.

I do really like these headphones. I really like the design, build, and comfort. The button slider for volume and control and next/previous track is also a really nice touch. Sound quality is where I have any critique. I find the sound quality a little underwhelming over Bluetooth. It just sounds kind of wimpy. I’m using a Galaxy S24 over AptX classic listening to FLAC files with ANC off. It still sounds good, but not what I was hoping for at this price point. Where they shine is over a USB C wired connection. They sound really good when I have it directly connected to my phone. The sound is so much fuller. The bass punches to a good level but not overwhelming. I also really like the mids and the highs. I only listen to these headphones over Bluetooth if I’m walking around the house doing chores. Otherwise I listen exclusively over a wired connection. I got these on sale and open-box, and I am very happy with my decision, but at MSRP, I would do my research to see if these are best for you.

Really great sound and comfort, when on sale this is a pretty good deal especially if you're in the Sonos Ecosystem already. Being able to watch my TV through these headphones seamlessly is great! Only improvements I would suggest: - ANC has problems with fans and wind (as many do), but it was noticeable to me when I had an airplane fan pointed at me. Also in loud environments (like an airplane), turning your head can make the ANC need to adjust briefly... Software improvements might be able to help these issues, but a faster chip like Aiprods have would be the next improvement - Switching between two devices is almost seamless, but not quite as good as the very well integrated Airpods on Apple devices. To be expected but always something that can be improved

Marking a 5, but these are about a 4.6. Music: 4/5 Movies: 6/5 Movies are what I bought them for so I’m satisfied. But music leaves something to be desired. Like others have said, the AirPods Max are the closest thing to compare. But these are WAY more comfortable, lighter, better looking. Max’s have better bass, but I can only wear those for 20min and I can wear the Ace’s for hours. For movies, they’re incredible. Demo them with Top Gun Maverick and you’ll be sold. I own 8 pairs of headphones / earbuds and I still pull these out almost daily. I think if Sonos hears the reviews and they tweak gen2, these will be amazing.

A New Standard for Premium Sound: The Sonos Ace

The Sonos Ace headphones aren't just an accessory; they're an experience. From the moment you place them over your ears, you understand that Sonos has brought its signature audio expertise to the personal listening space with exceptional results. First and foremost, the sound quality is phenomenal. The audio profile is rich, balanced, and dynamic, delivering deep, resonant bass without muddying the crystal-clear mids and highs. Whether you're streaming high-fidelity audio or just jamming to a podcast, the clarity and separation make every detail pop. Comfort is another huge win. The Ace headphones feel light and luxurious, thanks to the breathable earcups and perfectly weighted headband. I can wear these for hours—through a cross-country flight or an entire workday—without any listening fatigue or uncomfortable pressure. Finally, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is world-class. It’s superb at silencing the chaos of daily life, whether it's the rumble of a train or loud cafe chatter. When paired with their seamless integration into the Sonos home ecosystem (allowing you to swap TV audio instantly), the Ace headphones truly stand apart from the competition. These are an easy five-star recommendation for anyone serious about sound, comfort, and smart design.

I bought the Bose ultra quiet and these to compare them against each other. I already own a pair of Apple AirPod Max headphones and have had them for the last four years. I am big in the Apple ecosystem and enjoy the AirPods Max, but they have always been too heavy and felt it was time to get something lighter and more comfortable. I ended up staying with the Sonos because they were the more comfortable of the two headphones. I loved how light They are and how comfortable the ear cups feel connecting it to all of my devices was a breeze and it works seamlessly with my PlayStation 5, Xbox, Gaming PC and Apple products. Aesthetically they look better than any of the headphones on the market right now, they are more comfortable than any of the headphones I have tried on and the sound is right on par with the Bose and Apple AirPods Max. I would say the Bose have better noise, cancellation, the AirPods max have better transparency, but I like the sound in the punchings of the base in the Sonos. I was looking for over the ear headphones that I could wear laying down in the gym without falling off and these are perfect for workouts and look nice wearing them out in public as well. I got a great deal from Best Buy Getting them on sale for $350 and would recommend these to anybody who is looking for their next pair of over the headphones?

Sonos Ace work perfectly with Arc Ultra. They consistently connect on demand. Tried to save some money and purchase open box perfect, but unit would not charge. Also tried Ama**** and that "perfect" unit came with a broken case. Finally purchased new from Best Buy and could not be happier. Sound quality is excellent and the fit is very comfortable for extended wearing.

Just picked up the Sonos Ace Wireless Headphones in Soft White for my son and WOW, total parent win! These over-the-ear headphones look absolutely stunning - the soft white color gives them this premium, clean look that stands out from all the basic black headphones everyone else has. The active noise cancellation is IMPRESSIVE - my son says he can finally focus completely on his music without any distractions. Battery life has been amazing so far - he's been using them for days without needing to charge. The sound quality must be incredible because he keeps telling me how he's hearing parts of songs he never noticed before. The comfort factor is huge too - he wears them for hours without complaining about ear pain like with his old pair. Not gonna lie, I was hesitant about spending this much on headphones, but seeing how much he loves them makes it 100% worth it. The way his face lit up when he put them on for the first time? Priceless! Might have to "borrow" them when he's not looking... These Sonos Ace headphones are definitely a hit in our house!

    Sonos Ace, Everyday Review

Overall, I’m giving the Sonos Ace a solid, positive review. I’m a general consumer and slight audiophile. I own a pair of AirPods Max already and was really curious about the Sonos Ace, given the APM are technically outdated (rumored to be refreshed soon). I am genuinely going to keep the Sonos Ace. I went on a long haul, international flight with them and have done some general listening etc. with the Ace as well. I don’t own anything else of Sonos nor have ever tried anything else. I am in the Apple Ecosystem. Spatial Audio with the head tracking is actually pretty cool in comparison to APM, I think they did a fair job there. Noise cancellation, for me, is on par with APM. It was really good. The sound quality is great, it doesn’t have as open of a sound stage as APM and a bit less bass, this set of headphones is very well rounded/balanced, and the comfortability is very well done— has that snug fit like APM but doesn’t give the same fatigue like the APM, I assume because it weighs less and the build is a bit different. Ears didn’t feel hot either, just a bit warm. I was able to comfortably wear the Ace’s for 10 hours straight (note a little bit of fatigue but that’s natural for that long listening time), the battery lasted the flight there and back, plus the bit of time initially on the road. I had charged it to 100% and didn’t charge it at all again until after my trip. Two things to note, the Sonos gave me a little bit of an issue with the on ear/off ear detection (resuming audio after putting them back on). The other thing is that you cannot use them as wired headphones unless they are turned on. All in all, I think Sonos did a good job with their first pair of headphones. Would recommend only if 1) you have the money to comfortably spend and 2) you don’t have APM or have serious issue with APM after owning a pair. At the moment, I think the Ace is a bit above the APM given they have not been refreshed yet.

I have had these since their release so have had a while to review them. Sound: These sound quite good. Some of the reviews had mentioned issues all over the place on sound dead, uninspired, etc. I am not a total audiophile, but I know when something sounds decent and these do for music, You Tube and podcasts. I mean are they top notch wired ones, no but that is not really the point of them either. 4.5/5 ANC: Quite good. It's a smidge below Bose, but not much. I find the ANC to be quite good and pretty natural. I will say thought that there are a few times where there is a feeling of having some pressure in my ears. It doesn't happen often so I have written it off to my sinuses, but something to consider. But overall quite good. 4.5/5 Comfort: This is where these really shine they are super comfy. I value comfort more than most items as finding a good fit for headphones is hard for my head. They have the oh so right clamping force and feel natural, the pads themselves are quite good and don't get overly warm. I can fall asleep on a chair with these on for several hours and that is something as I rarely can do that. 5/5 Connectivity / Controls: They connect and can connect to multiple items. Trying to do the bluetooth pairing is a little clunky but not horrid. Apple spoiled us with their auto pairing so it's not the end of the world to do but not just push and go either. They stay connected and have had no BT issues. 4/5 Overall: Quite a compelling offering, especially if you can find a sale that they have starting having recently. They are comfy, sound quite good, and have great ANC. It's sort of the goldilocks in that they do everything quite well and it adds up to a great overall offering.

I have two Sonos speakers...the Beam and the Five. I wanted comfortable earphones to use mainly with the Beam while watching TV at night, and I figured a Sonus product would pair with them easily. The Sonos sounded great in the store (nice to be able to try then out in person), so although rather costly, I took the chance on the Ace. They are really wonderful...great sound, extremely comfortable on the ears. You can switch on the setting to block out background noise if necessary, and that part of it works fantastically. I turned it on to block the sound of a very loud air conditioner, and I couldn't hear the AC at all. Otherwise, without a lot of room noise you don't need that feature and you just keep it off. Connecting it to the TV/Beam system was fairly easy although not immediately obvious. You must use that Sonos app, and the only complaint I have is that Sonos should provide a good instruction sheet to make that connection part easier. I almost had to call Sonos for help, but I eventually figured it out. To Sonos: Please provide some sort of user manual! Otherwise, battery life seems great, and it comes with a nice protective case.

I love these over-the-ear headphones!!! I got these whenever I started graduate school, and they were such a lifesaver, especially when I needed to use the noise cancellation. The battery life is amazing, I barely have to charge them, and whenever I do, it does not take long to charge. The noise cancellation is amazing, and I use it all of the time. The sound is amazing, and unlike a few different over-the-ear headphones I tried, the top part does not hurt my head after using them for a couple of hours. Definitely worth the money!

I’ve been using the Sonos Ace headphones for a week now, and they have completely changed how I experience music. The sound quality is incredible, with every note, from the highest highs to the deepest bass, coming through clearly. The sound is balanced, though not overly punchy, which I appreciate for a more natural listening experience. The lossless streaming and spatial audio make it feel like I’m right in the middle of the music. The noise cancellation is fantastic, blocking out all the background noise so I can focus entirely on what I’m listening to. But if I need to hear what’s happening around me, the Aware mode is super handy. They’re also really comfortable, with soft memory foam cushions and an adjustable band that fits perfectly. The battery life is fantastic, lasting up to 30 hours, and a quick 3-minute charge gives me another 3 hours of use. Calls are crystal clear too, thanks to the beamforming microphones. The controls are easy to use, and I love that the audio pauses automatically when I take the headphones off. Switching between devices is a breeze, and the Sonos app lets me tweak the settings to my liking. My favorite feature is the TV swap mode with the Sonos Arc – it’s perfect for late-night TV watching without disturbing anyone. Whether I’m listening to music, taking calls, or watching movies, these headphones provide an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased the Sonos Ace headphones, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is exceptional, delivering crisp highs, rich mids, and deep, satisfying bass that enhances every genre of music I enjoy. Whether it's classical, rock, or electronic, these headphones handle it all with clarity and depth. Comfort is another standout feature. The ear cups are plush and provide a perfect fit that stays comfortable even during extended listening sessions. The design is sleek and modern, and the materials used feel durable yet lightweight. The Bluetooth connectivity works flawlessly, allowing me to move around freely without worrying about wires. The battery life is impressive, lasting for hours on a single charge, making them ideal for long trips or daily commutes. Overall, the Sonos Ace headphones have exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for headphones that combine top-notch sound quality, comfort, and stylish design, look no further. Highly recommended!

I've been a Sonos fan for years now with few hiccups to complain about. These headphones are no exception. They are comfortable, well made and a solid performer . The noise cancelling is top notch and filters out fan noise in my room nicely. The movie experience is immersive with a realistic quality. Music is equally enjoyable and top notch. Are wired headphones better? I'm not willing to spend the thousands it would cost to find out. I was in the hifi industry for 25 years in my youth and can tell you it us easy to fall in search for perfection. Put these on and just enjoy your source material and spend your money on a nice steak or a trip to the beach.
