This is one of the products that cost me the most to decide to buy both for the price and the time that I was going to use it, but the truth is it was worth it, it is easy to connect and very easy to use it is a product very good and sonos as always very good

Unsurprisingly for a Sonos product, this amp is super easy to set up via the Sonos app, easy to operate.
What I was surprised at was the power and sound quality.
Yes, you can definitely assemble a multi zone system for much less, but the quality and ease is worth it.

I love Sonos amd their Amps/Speaker systems. I had them in my previous house for the outside speakers. I would turn on Apple Music and work outside all day. Now in the house I’m up to 5 amps to cover all my ceiling speakers. Easy set up, easy hook up, 200% dependable. 2 Amps are over 5 yrs old with no issues at all.

I had already the Sonos Sound Bar and subwoofer which both sound awesome together. My place had preinstalled 4 speakers in the wall of the living room and was used from prior older receiver set ups. I Thought this amp might work well with the sound bar and sub and it really does! I just wired up both front and back on the respective left and right sides and it really sounds great and no big receiver boxes to hide. Set up was a piece of cake too.

I put the Sonos amp in a 1965 Zenith HiFi when the main transformer blew. Was able to use existing turntable and speakers. Sound quality exceptional. Easy to go from turntable to steaming music. One of the best purchases I've made.

I have hooked my tower speakers and my CD to this amp. Sometimes I will unhook the CD player and hook up my turntable to this amp. It works extremely well. Also in using the Sonos app I can stream through this excellent amp. Love it!

Produces great sound matched with Sonance speakers. It is a bit pricey but the integration of Sonos and everything always working makes it worth the price. I have two sets of speakers connected to each of the amps in the network.

I purchased this amp and 2 high quality speakers to be used as outdoor surround sound. The amp was placed inside and the amp and the 2 speakers work great together. I control the amp volume level and tv/radio selections with my phone and it turned out better than expected.

I also own the original Songs Connect Amp, and this one is better in every way. More power, smaller footprint, looks better, etc. Love the new speaker connections. Makes it easy to wire everything up and then connect to the amp. No issues with the new design.

Great unit. I have this powering outdoor patio speakers and it pushes out quality sound. This syncs up perfectly with the rest of the house using airplay 2 and is super easy to set up. It’s on the pricey side but the ease of use make it worth it.

Not really enough power for KEF LS50

I'm using the Sonos AMP as an amplifier/music streamer and for the front channels of a surround system, along with a pair of KEF LS50 bookshelf speakers. I'm using a Yamaha powered subwoofer and a pair of Sonos Play:1s for the surround rear channels. This is set up in a normal-ish 250sq ft living room, with no special audio treatments.
The LS50s are incredibly demanding in terms of power; the Sonos AMP kind of struggles to make a clear distinction between forte and mezzo forte, indicating that it just can't deliver enough juice to make the speakers happy. Lack of sensitivity is a common complaint about the LS50s, and I can say that the issue is real. You need to be able to give them MOUNTAINS of power to get the best performance, and unfortunately, the AMP delivers the Appalachians, not the Rockies. When used with less troublesome speakers, the AMP seems to do fine. It's handy that the AMP has an analog subwoofer outlet, for help with the Moog Taurus bass pedals on your famous prog rock album.
The other features of the AMP are generally useful - the Apple Airplay 2 support is seamless and reliable, no drops when playing a song. The surround features are good, but would be better if you could use a Sonos One or Five as a center channel. It sounds WAY better than the TV's built-in speakers, but not as good as a dedicated 5.1 system (or even a Beam with Play:1 rears, like I have in the bedroom). Would be nice to have HDMI passthrough so you don't have to sacrifice an HDMI input on your TV to use ARC/CEC. Works fine with the optical to HDMI converter as well, though you don't get volume indication on the TV.
