Excellent Boost to the Sonos Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought about this a lot before deciding to buy on the merit that the 8 speakers, sub and 3 bridges weren't sounding the best. At times there was a hollowness and the sub would disconnect. Well after connecting the Boost, the sub is much deeper with no disconnects and the 4 stereo pairs of speakers are really sounding much sweeter than they did before. The three antennae in the Boost really have worked wonders. It is worth it especially considering that with so much already invested you ought to get the best from your investment.

Just what the Doctor Ordered
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am deep into the Sonos brand and am amazed at the quality of the technology and the overall innovation. With multiple levels and lots of WiFi gaps, I was encouraged to check out the Boost and am I happy I did. Simply have the Boost as the interface plugged into the router and all of the Sonos devices sync up and function better than before. Awesome!

Great way to boost sonos in troublesome locations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed Sonos Play's are remote speakers in an older building. Two of these basically blanketed an audio system in a huge, old building that eats WIFI. A dedicated system outside of the guest wifi means that background audio / announcement system just works. Once again Sonos hits it out of the park.

Worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are in love with our sons system. We have 3 of the play 3's and a sound bar, music played through out the house from a simple app on our iPhone or iPad. They are chic looking and blend right in. Only downside is that they have to be plugged in, they are not wireless speakers. This easily plugs into our wireless router so the speakers run seemlessly

Improves overall performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SONOS speakers can be connected just using your WIFI. However, this unit creates it’s own network for all the speakers to connect which will improve overall performance - no dead zones in your house and solid signal strength and not impact your WIFI/router performance. I have 9 speakers (Including sound bar and sub) and they all work great with this “bridge” device. Highly recommend. If you are spending money to buy the SONOS speakers, this extra unit is worth the cost.

I didn't really need it, but I guess it's cool!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up a Sonos boost when I was having trouble pairing my older Play:1 speakers as surrounds with my new Arc soundbar after several months without trouble before they dropped. The Boost was quick and easy to set up, and promises a dedicated wireless channel for all your Sonos gear. As for my main reason for buying this, the Boost didn't fix the surrounds pairing issue, but a recent Sonos S2 iOS app update and accompanying speaker hardware update did fix it. So this was ultimately an unnecessary purchase for me as my connectivity to Sonos speakers has always been good with my main wireless router. Ah well, I'll keep the Boost and hopefully this means more reliable connectivity and better performance over the long run!

Well worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned my entire Samsung Radiant set and replaced them with one of every sonos speaker. The sonos sound MUCH better, dont distort like the samsungs did, the software works better. Also, with the sonos bridge it doesnt choke up my WiFi. Samsung didnt have a comparable product to the bridge. Overall, Sonos still owns the home speaker market.

Sonos Necessity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told when I bought my Sonos One that the Boost was optional. That may be technically true, but I can tell you that I had lots of trouble connecting to my speaker without the Boost. I struggled for over a year until I finally decided to invest in the Boost and I haven't had a single problem since. GET ONE!

Solved my issue!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it took just a little figuring out and time setting up the Boost, once it was up and running, it solved my connection issue. I had one speaker in a room at the far end of the house from my router that would only stay connected if it was directly in line with the open doorway. If I moved the speaker around the corner, its connection dropped from the system. I read lots of reviews for this, crossed my fingers, and hoped the Boost would connect to this one speaker, so that I could place it where I wanted it, not just where it would connect. And viola! Perfect! What a relief!
