A fantastic gift to myself, the Era 100 allows me to fill my day with music - pop, jazz, and classical - with a simple voice command. The sound quality is wonderful, especially considering its compact size. And Best Buy’s sale price and online ordering/ local pickup made the entire purchase experience easy and a very positive experience.

Love the sonos product. I was in search for a easy setup, good sounding system for our office open house. I debated on which sonos product to go with. The Era 100 delivers on all accounts. I bought 4 or these. The are small in size so great to place around the room and not have them stand out. The sound is excellent, good bass and crisp clean sound overall. The app makes it super easy to control. I can have several different office hands have access and control to play must anytime it is warranted. I love that I can add to these as well if I want to place on different floors for a who office experience. So glad I went with the Era 100 - great business class model.

Bought two of these for rear surrounds and they are absolutely perfect. Sonos is probably the best surround system out there in my opinion. Well worth the money.

Amazing speaker. I wanted a garage speaker that could also integrate with my Apple home so I can slowly build out a whole home audio system and I’m very impressed with this one. Great price, easy set up and crisp clean sound.

I bought six of these Sonos speakers to be used in a 4000 sq foot location. I read that each speaker can fill a 250 sq foot space maximum. Doing the math, that would mean I would need to buy 16 speakers. Glad I only bought six and not 16 because they’re very powerful and strong with excellent sound quality. They easily connected to via the Sonos app (not the Sonos 1 app) and they connected with each other seamlessly. BestBuy had a sale going at the time so I bought them at a really good price. Perfect! Thank you!

Originally would have given this 4 stars. Sound quality was excellent, easy to hook up and use. But the TruePlay option was not working with the iPhone 15. Sonos has since updated their app and this works great and the sound is even better. Price was somewhat on the high side for the quality, but the features make that cost easier to swallow. Speakers pair easily with the Arc and Sub for a true surround sound experience.
Was purchased as a package with the Sub and Arc.

These speakers are absolutely amazing !!
They sound so clear and the bass is so deep for such a small speaker.
We purchased 2 speakers and placed one upstairs and one downstairs and it literally fills the house with music .
Very easy to use and compact.

Great sounding speakers, easy to set up. I have them all over the house and use my wifi to connect them. Also very convenient to be able to use as a Bluetooth speaker when I need to. Small enough so they are out of site, but sound like a large speaker. (After adjusting the equalizer in the Sonos app)

Amazing sound. Do you go with 2 300s or 100s for surrounds? That's the most common question. If you are looking to add on surround or upgrading from say Play1s, the 100s are absolutely the best route to go. 300's are very expensive for 1 unit are awesome speakers, but when in surround mode, the center speaker on the 300 is disabled intentionally. You also have to position the 300s in a certain way in order to get the full effect of Atmos, For the 100s, you can sit them right behind you, internal speakers are not disabled so why spend $800 for 2 300s when you can spend half that for 2 100s?!

Worth the money! We replaced a pair of One SL’s in our bedroom with the ERA’s. They sound much better in stereo. Sound field is much better especially after using Trueplay. Best of all is the Bluetooth! It always pairs up well and plays perfectly with all our other products. That was a huge drawback with the old setup not having Bluetooth. To me, These ERA’s look much better than the old SL’s. (The ones have now been replaced by this model). These speakers are very well balanced also. To me, the SL’s were a bit “boomy”. You can’t go wrong with these, don’t hesitate to try them out. You won’t be disappointed! We purchased one of the speakers as an open box and saved a good bit of money.

The Era 100s are an amazing addition to any room. I have one in my main bedroom and a pair of rear speakers in my office. They alone sound great, but together, they sound phenomenal. I suggest getting a pair of these instead of just one Era 300. Although they sound great, the Era 100s have better bass and, as a pair, better sound coverage.
I have also compared them to the JBL Authentics 200, and they are evenly matched for their size. Although the JBL has better bass, the Era 100 has better acoustics.
Not enough can be said for these small speakers because they pack a powerful punch for their size.

I had been looking for s totally wireless sound system (except for power supply). I’ve had my old Denom AVR 2800 for years, playing through Infinity towers, Infinity center channel, and Paradigm sub. The system sounded great, movies and music. Play it loud with no distortion. Anyway, we’ve done some rennonvations and didn’t want the speaker wires, etc. Looked and listened to several wireless systems and the Sonos, to my surprise, was the best. The sound reproduction is very good (not as good as the Nacamichi) but what made the Somos better was the ease and versitity of the Sonos app! Now have the Arc, sub-woofer, and pair of One SL for the TV (76” LG QNED) for the home theater, plus we added the Somos amp that drives a pair of Yamaha outdoor speakers AND my old Infinity towers in the library. We were so impressed with the sound that we added this Era 100 for the kitchen area - play all at the same time and the music experiance is awesome! Very pleased with all the Sonos products, thus far. Super easy to set up then almost limitless customization options. We’ll probably expand with more Era 100 or maybe even the Era 300. Be prepared to spend a few $$$ on the Sonos, but in my humble opinion the Sonos is worth it!

So I’ve heard this speaker on its own several times and it is fantastic! And I imagine pairing it with another speaker for stereo sound to play music would be amazing as well. With all that being said, I did not like at all how this paired with the rest of my Sonos system to create a surround sound.
The major problem I had was the fact that it turned my Sonos beam into practically a voice only speaker. With about 70% of the audio coming through the era 100s. I tried tinkering with it in the app and it still did not help increase the volume of the beam gen 2. And so for that matter I returned these.
The gist of this review would be, great for music and not so great for home cinema. I will preface this by saying that I do live in a small apartment, but even with the true sound feature it could never get it right to my liking

I bought these Sonos Era 100 speakers to be used as rear channels in my Sonos system in the living room. They replace a pair of Sonos SL Ones. The Sonos Era 100 is an appreciable upgrade; particular for music playback. I like them so much I am thinking of buying a few more to be used in other rooms of the house for an expanded system. Thumbs up!
