The quality of the sound, incredible volume, and clean design have converted me into a Sonos fan for life. Everytime I host a dinner or party i get asked what speakers they are since they sound so good even at high volumes. I have never maxed out the volume because although it still sounds great, its plenty loud. Highly reccomend!

sound perfect Title: Impressive Sound Quality, Yet Connectivity Issues I recently had the opportunity to experience the Sonos Era 100 Speaker, and I must say, its audio performance left a lasting impression. The speaker boasts a rich and well-balanced sound, delivering a satisfying audio experience across various genres. The bass, in particular, is noteworthy, adding depth and punch to the overall sound profile. However, the product does come with its fair share of challenges, primarily revolving around the connectivity with the dedicated app. While the sound quality is undeniably impressive, the process of connecting the speaker to the app proved to be a bit cumbersome. I encountered difficulties in establishing a seamless connection, which somewhat hindered the overall user experience. Despite the connectivity issues, once successfully paired, the Sonos Era 100 Speaker offers a wide range of customization options through the app, allowing users to fine-tune the audio to their preferences. The ability to control different aspects of the sound, such as equalization and volume, adds a layer of flexibility that audiophiles will appreciate. In conclusion, the Sonos Era 100 Speaker is a commendable choice for those who prioritize audio quality. Its robust bass and overall sound performance make it an attractive option for music enthusiasts. However, potential buyers should be aware of the connectivity challenges that may arise during the setup process. With improvements in this aspect, the Sonos Era 100 could easily stand out as a top-tier audio companion.

Works well, really like that it has Bluetooth so you really don't have to use the Sonos software, just use Bluetooth from iPhone or Android. Sound is quite good for such a small speaker. Even has a microphone if you want to talk to it (not sure if it does Google or Amazon Alexa, I'm not using that part).

This unit is absolutely amazing. The sound quality is unparalleled for just a Bluetooth speaker and being able to connect to multiple Sonos brand speakers and sound bars is fantastic and the ease of use I’m sure it’s perfect, but none text savvy potential users. Another most amazing thing is able to connect to major receiver brands with their Bluetooth function with Sonos compatibility. I would definitely recommend this we meant to anyone.

Fantastic sound quality and VOLUME for such a small package. More than able to fill a large living space on its own. Paired it with our arc sonos soundbar and it's fantastic going between rooms with the sound perfectly synced. Only downside is that it doesn't support apple music directly, only through the app.

I was impressed by the size, though I found out after calling SONOS, that unlike the 300 series that lay parallel against the wall, these are better facing your seating position. So face the logos towards your headrest, ...and you may have to adjust the level of the rears as the Tru play app put these particular speakers too low so I bumped them up a few notches. I am comparing them to the 300s I put in another room for my rears, and these were tuned to my liking with the Tru play app and if it were not for me installing my 300's first, I might not have known that simply going to the Sonos app, adjusting rear surround levels, after Tru play, can improve your listening experience.

Pop it out of the box, plug it in, open the Sonos app — bam, you’re up and running. The matte black finish looks elegant on any shelf or desk, and that new indented volume slider on top? Smooth, intuitive, and simply fun to use. On its own, it delivers full, lively sound. In pairs? It turns into a true stereo power player. Sound great, smart features, cozy design — it’s just one of those things you’ll enjoy every day.

For the price and convenience, this speaker is just incredible. Got 2 to match with my Sonos arc, and each speaker alone is better than the arc. Incredible sound throughout the frequency range, and does a great job of filling out the room. You can buy 2 for a discount and couldn’t recommend more.

Awesome upgrade from the Sonos One SL!!

I’ve been using the Sonos One SL as my surround sound (rear speakers) for two years, and honestly, they never felt like they were on! I’d constantly have to put my ear right up to them just to figure out what sound was coming out. I’d mess with the app, trying to adjust the volume, but it never really sounded right. Then one day, while randomly scrolling through Best Buy, I came across reviews for the Era 100s. One review stood out—it mentioned the same issue I had with the One SL, that they barely sounded like they were on. That was all I needed to hear. On a rainy night, I headed to Best Buy, excited to see how big of an upgrade the Era 100s really were. Let me tell you—they’re AMAZING! Once I set them up, I immediately used the Trueplay feature in the app to tune them, and now I’m finally hearing all the sounds I was missing. The rear audio is so immersive, it feels like I’m in the middle of the action. I paired them with my new Arc Ultra, and it’s pure movie heaven! If you’re coming from the One SL like I was, I 100% recommend upgrading to the Era 100s. You won’t regret it! Let me know if this review helped you! I’m literally a Best Buy Junkie lol I’m always there buying the latest and greatest! Im happy to help you guys out with any questions you might have!

Im loving the volune and sound quality of this speaker. I purchased this to replace my Echo Dot. My only conplaint is that the voice recognition is not sensitive enough. I find myself having to elevate my voice even in a quiet room to be picked up. A huge plus is that it pairs very well with my Sonos Ray. I definitely reccomend this item.

If you’ve seen anything else I’ve written, I piece by piece added to my Sonos Beam in my basement. I got two of these to pair with a Beam and the mini sub. I had gone back and forth between the 100 and 300, and am glad I went with the 100. My room is narrow and I’m not a true audiophile, so the extra speakers weren’t a necessary thing. Adding the pair to the app was simple. Using the app to sort of configure the spatial part of the system makes you look silly when your wife catches you doing it, but it does a really good job of building encompassing sound. Whether it’s Dolby Atmos movies or just music to clean to, it has been a welcome addition.

Good extension to our surround system. Easy to add to our Sonos ecosystem. For people like me that need some additional "volume" from their TV, especially for heavy dialogue scenes these help to solve that issue. Two sitting behind me on the couch work really well when the house is in chaos from kids and I am trying to hear what is being said. Features are also nice - able to use them separately from TV to play music. With the adapter will also connect a turntable and play some records. There are some options through the Sonos app that I wish were more thought out but thats not necessarily a concern of the speakers but could impact your enjoyment. Being able to speak to control volume is also a nice feature.

I uses ordered my 6th of these speakers for another room. These speakers sound great. One can cover a good size room, but ideally get two and make them a stereo pair. They sound great as a pair and will handle a really large space. For awhile Sonos had some big reliability issues. They issued a very poor software update that messed up their app, removed some popular features, and also affected speaker reliability. BUT that has been fixed now all of us that use Sonos a lot are back to loving our products. It was a rare misstep for Sonos and I think they've learned their lesson. O also have a couple of Sonos Amps and one of their Ports connected to a separate amp. They all play well together now. Sonos is back to being the best in whole-house audio. I recommend these.

I finally added a pair of Sonos Era 100s to my surround sound setup, and honestly, they tie everything together perfectly. The sound feels fuller and more immersive now—like the room finally woke up. Movies have that extra punch in the action scenes, and music feels wider, with little details popping out that I didn’t notice before. Setup was super straightforward (classic Sonos), and the compact design means they don’t hog space or clash with the room. They’re small but don’t sound small—bass is tight, mids are clear, and highs are crisp without being harsh. Basically, they’re the missing piece I didn’t realize I needed until I hit play. If you’re already in the Sonos ecosystem, these are a no-brainer. They’re not just “rear speakers”—they make the whole system feel alive.

Has a nice full sound that I like better than the Era 300. Playing them both together is the best! They fill in each other's weak spots. Very easy to set up, but the phone app loses connection every once in a while. It seems better on iOS than Android, but on iOS you can't use the volume buttons on the phone to adjust the speaker like on Android. Overall, I would recommend this Era 100 over the 300 for the difference in cost, plus I enjoy the sound a little more. And you can almost afford two of them for the price of the 300!
