Sonos Five is pure magic! I bought one at first and the sound was so AWESOME, I bought a 2nd to run in stereo. Paired with the Amazon HD streaming service, it sounds like I have the band in the house playing. It picks up so many nuances. I contemplated picking up the sub too, but the bass is great so I haven't pulled the trigger on it. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this. Even one speaker fills the room.

This sonos speaker has great range and fills the room with rish balance sound. It is well made and easy to set up. We are using it through a hardwired connection to a revord player in addition to streaming from the easy to use sonos app. I highly reccomend this speaker easpecially if you want dynamic sound with a small footprint.

I now have 12 sonos speakers in my home and they are all outstanding. This was my latest purchase. The Sonos 5 is incredible. I love the fact that it is stereo on its own but can still be stereo paired with another Sonos 5. The quality of the audio is impressive. The bass is incredible. I also like how you can plug another source into the input, like a turntable. I can't wait to purchase a 2nd one in the near future. I can't even imagine how good 2 Sonos 5 speakers will sound.

I have a pair of Sonos Five and have been vestry pleased. It sounds fine at both high, and more tame volumes. While no one would buy a Sonos system for critical listening, being able to have whole home audio with minimal fuss is really nice. Between these, a Sub that goes along with them, and a pair of One SL’s in our bedroom, even with a couple minor hiccups they’ve been convenient enough that we are looking at two more pairs on One SL’s to round out the system.

This thing blew me away with the sound quality. Everything was fine until the app updated and started having connectivity issues. Lucky I was within return period. Will buy again once that's all ironed out.

Ive been thinking about adding a little music in my garage and boy does this speaker deliver. I only have one Sonos five and it delivers a full sound with surprisingly good bass from a relativity small speaker. I plan on adding another Sonos five so i can have stereo left and right when listening to music. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great sounding speaker that can easily expand with other speakers and has many listening options.

Great speaker. Nearly audiophile quality. Sonos works through the Sonos app so it will not just plug into the speaker output but the app is capable. Get two and when configured vertically on either side of an audio engine, (phone, Bluetooth computer or a turntable) a stereo system is created.

This is an outstanding speaker! This is my first Sonos speaker and it has impressed me and my guests. The bass is just right and the loudness is great. I like the fact that it’s easy to use. I use to have a surround sound system that the wife would not use because of all the buttons she had to press. Now she walks in the house, opens the SONOS App and starts playing music. Yes that simple! Best part is if I’m hooked up to it and I need to run an errand I just leave and the SONOS speaker keeps on playing as if I was there. No need to have someone else connect because I’m leaving or because I’m too far for the Bluetooth. Would recommend this speaker for anyone looking for great sound.

This was a replacement item for a high-end bookshelf speaker that had gotten damaged and was not repairable. I am extremely happy with the resolution and clarity of this speaker. The range is also quite impressive. Bravo!

Great sound. The bass sounds great without needing a sub. I have a sub anyway, just for the extra punch. If you are looking for great sound, look no further.

The sound is amazing! We just bought a townhouse that had built-in speakers in the ceiling/wall and instead of buying an amp or a receiver to power them, we bought a Sonos 5 - it was cheaper and the sound is way better! We already had two Sonos Ones and an Arc and Sub, so adding the 5 was a no-brainer. Setup takes all of 5 minutes.

I must give it right. You can turn this speaker up all the way to 100 and it will reproduce the sound exactly as it was meant to be enjoyed. Bass, piano, treble, saxophone and instrumentals all sound crystal clear and precise. I even tested it to my standards with some of my high bass songs from the artists I love. The Sonos Five basically said 'nice try', next time give me a challenge. I mean I was amazed that the bass reproduction boomed and didn't even sound rattled. This speaker is the real deal!

Great speaker! The sound is good and the bass is deep enough even without the subwoofer. The Sonos app is a little clunky, but you can at least adjust the sound levels in it. My only real complaint is that it doesn't have bluetooth or connect to the regular youtube app. But that's what you get with most Sonos products.

Bomb speaker. I have numerous Sonos products throughout the house. Sonos Arc, Sub, SL, and Move. I needed a speaker for my kitchen to get more depth of sound and this delivered. It's portable not like the move, but has much better sound quality. Definitely would purchase. Everyone that has come to my home is in shocked by this speaker and it compliments my other speaker systems well.

I have a Sonos system and a more traditional Hi-Fi stereo system. I have to say I hear things in songs that I did not know existed. I am listening to music more on the Sonos than I am on the Rack System. Maybe it is my hearing, but the Sonos is a solid performer and just the right amount of bass.
