These speakers sound amazing! Good for the price have had much more expensive set ups that didn’t sound as good !

Went into the store to buy a good product and walked out with a better product. The associate took the time to share the Sonos experience with us after asking what our goals were in the house. We paired the Sonos arec with two Sonos Five and three Sonos One speakers. Spread throughout the house, it is an immersive sound that hits you in your core. Whether you are listening to rock, rap, country or Frank it hits you. Then you throw in super bowl games and the sound flowing through the house with multiple tvs on but volume down on the set and the Sonos system delivering the experience. You feel like you are at the cinema watching the game. If you can't tell... I am a FAN of the Sonos system. Looking to add more to the patio and basement areas now!

This was my first Sonos speaker. Lots of features, easy to use app, very much a plug-and-play-and-connect-to-network experience. Integrates with MacBook and iPhone super well. Sound is very good and it fills the room its in.

Sonos continues to to make great products , replaced my sonos ones for surrounds to my current arc setup and impressed on the dimension added,truly makes you feel immersed , music is even more of a pleasure, you feel front and center, only con is the price

The Sonos Five is awesome. I paired it with two Sonos ones and a sub. Really good bass and very clean music without distortion.

Great speaker with strong resonance, rich tone , and immersive bass. Using on my back patio fir now and really enjoying it. Like so much I’m adding another Play 5to my bonus room. Also have the Arc, Sub, and SL 1 in my den. New to Sonos family but highly impressed all.

Bought this as a test speaker before buying another, and was very pleased. For the size, the bass is deep and smooth. The highs are crisp and clean. Setup was a breeze. I highly recommend the Sonos PLAY5 and I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

There is no doubt that the Sonos family of speakers is one of the best around. At least, any doubt was removed for me as soon as I ran it through it’s paces. Deep, clear bass, amazing separation for distinct voices throughout the range of frequencies, and all in a single unit. I’ll probably get two for true stereo (I hear they become irresistible once you’re in for it). Fair warning: the setup process requires persistent Wi-Fi. You can't set it up on a guest network, either (so good luck bringing it to a hotel without a Wi-Fi hotspot or router in tow). There is no plug-and-play (even using the 1/8" line in, you still need to set the thing up on Wi-Fi before it will play) or Bluetooth capabilities. This unit is for a persistent home audio environment. Once I did get it going in that hotel room – a fantastic time was enjoyed by all.

I just picked this speaker up so admittedly, I have not completely put it through all of it's paces yet. That said, the sound quality is absolutely amazing. I have multiple Sonos speakers (several Playbars, and One speakers). I can say without question that the sound from this Five beats them all. It sounds simply incredible. The setup was simple as expected and I used the app to add it to my system and update it's firmware (automatically). Piece of cake. So why only four stars? Because I still can't get over that in 2020 they still don't include Bluetooth or voice assistant (Alexa, Google). Admittedly I knew that going in and purchased this because of the better sound. But make no mistake, this is a definite limitation. It's not about wanting these features to be lazy, it's that it makes the speaker incompatible (or difficult to use at best) with a lot of devices. And if Wifi ever goes out, your done. Would I buy another, absolutely. But Sonos really needs to up it's game here in the feature department to get 5 stars in my opinion.

These Sonos 5 speakers are a joy to listen to. You can crank them to impressive sonic levels with minimal distortion and they’re very powerful with a big, satisfying, full range frequency response. The downloadable attending app allows the user to literally adapt the speakers to each unique room acoustical environment. Giles Martin, son of the late George Martin of Beatles fame has created masterful speaker systems and the 5’s are well worth their relatively modest investment. Best Buy expeprts in the back of the store are among the most expert sound pros anywhere.

I use two of these as rear speakers for my TV setup, which is great. They really perform when you play music from the Sonos App. Super easy to setup the room for optimal sound performance

I ordered the Sonos Arc at Bestbuy ad it took 3 weeks to arrive. I was so impressed with the performance of the Arc that I decided to purchase the best surround speaker to hook up with the arc. It took me almost a grand but men, I tell you, it’s worth it. The build is solid and the music production is off the charts. The quality of music produced was crispy clear, solid and pure. Because of Covid - 19, I work from home so I figured I might as well make it a fun and lovely place to be in. Pls these speakers with the sub and the arc and you will get to be a believer in Sonos 5. I have the Sonos ones for the rooms, but the fives are the big brothers. I love the Sonos fives and will recommend them to Emanuel one that wants to enjoy crisp music.

I paired a 2nd Sonos Five with one it purchased a couple of years ago. I love my Sonis Arc, but the pair of Fives is by far superior for music.

The Sonos five wireless smart speaker is awesome. I also have the soundbar. Easy install, easy to use. It never drops signal ever. I would recommend this to friends and family and to those that read this review.

Stellar sound, powerful addition to any SONOS system, AUX jack is the selling point but you won't be disappointed by this solid speaker, very sleek design as well.
