This is an amazing speaker. I have one of these by it self in my art studio and you would think I have an entire sound system in there- it is comparable to the sonos one -- except with a more full sound and more bass. The speaker requires wifi -- but it is amazing and will even use your phone to tune it to the room so based on its location it will send the right amount of sound to the entire room. I have never seen speakers that are this nice before. My thoughts are that this is better than Bose.

The sound is superior to anything I’ve ever owned before. I’m hearing things in music I was unable to hear before. I do wish it was Bluetooth capable rather than relying on airplay. And it was a bit more difficult to setup than other products I’ve had (probably due to Bluetooth inability). Overall the listening experience is too amazing to allow anything less than a 5 star review, from me.

This was my first Sonos purchase and I am hooked for life! This speaker is seriously impressive! Amazing sound quality especially coming out of a single speaker. I also purchased a Era 300 and when they are both playing (in different rooms of my home) it is exactly what I was looking for! Very happy with this purchase!

Expert installation along with great sounding speakers a little pricey are well worth the expense, you get what you pay for

Superb sound, nice smallish size. Easy to use with the Sonos app. Much richer, fuller sound than the less expensive Sonos speakers I tested in the store, and much much better than other brands! A bit more pricey but worth it. Very pleased with my purchase, would buy it again.

Absolutely one of the best purchases I have made. The sound quality is clear and the surround sound offers live-action scenes. Sometimes I look behind me because I forget that the speakers are there and then the surround sound will kick in. Its great!

Great sounding WiFi speaker! They sound even better as a stereo pair! Just be aware to do a stereo pair the items must be the same. So you’ll see play fives and just fives they are different! Sonos makes very nice products!

VERY great speaker, but also pretty expensive. It does feel like you at least get a high quality speaker for your money. Very heavy, solid, and well built. No vibrations, buzzing, etc.

Excellent sound quality for such a small speaker. My only complaint is that there is no remote that functions with a hub for the Sonos speakers. Going through all the steps just to control the volume on my I Phone is not convenient. Otherwise, I love the Sonos 5. This is the only Sonos speaker that accepts a CD or record player without requiring an amp.
