I Purchased (2) for my living room system. I'm extremely satisfied with the add on. My system has taken a wonderful boost! I totally pleased with my purchase!

The sound is amazing! We just bought a townhouse that had built-in speakers in the ceiling/wall and instead of buying an amp or a receiver to power them, we bought a Sonos 5 - it was cheaper and the sound is way better! We already had two Sonos Ones and an Arc and Sub, so adding the 5 was a no-brainer. Setup takes all of 5 minutes.

Bomb speaker. I have numerous Sonos products throughout the house. Sonos Arc, Sub, SL, and Move. I needed a speaker for my kitchen to get more depth of sound and this delivered. It's portable not like the move, but has much better sound quality. Definitely would purchase. Everyone that has come to my home is in shocked by this speaker and it compliments my other speaker systems well.

Impressive audio quality with this single speaker. Plenty of bass and clean mids and highs. Adding a second one would enhance the stereo effect for a larger room. You could also add a subwoofer. Works very well with streaming audio from various sources including AirPlay. Works very well with Plex, etc.
Compared to a pair of KRK studio monitors w/subwoofer and this single Sonos Five comes remarkably close. Far better audio than Apple HomePods or any Amazon / Google smart speaker. Not using the Alexa / Google voice features. Easy to manage the speaker wth the Sonos App.

Super easy to set up. Integrated well with my existing Sonos system. Sound is extraordinary. Will probably get one or two more of these.

After having this speaker for about a couple months now, I only have good to say about this product. The sound is phenomenal from lows to highs. The speaker can be connected through a wifi or through an aux connection. It gets extremely loud and its a new experience every time. Overall these are worth the price and the quality is superb.

Got this for a workspace that already had an old Sonos speaker. It did the job, but now they’re both hooked up and they fill the room beautifully. This review isn’t aimed at discerning audiophiles, but it was easy tell the Sonos big boy was a huge upgrade on its own. My staff was delighted with the addition. It took a few minutes to get both speakers to play at the same time as the solution wasn’t perfectly intuitive, so the 4 out of 5 stars for ease-of-use represents that minor glitch rather than the normal daily routine. I respectfully have no complaints with the Sonos ecosystem and its ease of use. Cheers to a great product!

Truly incredible sound. The hardest thing though is figuring out where to put it. I haven't found any good stands and it's definitely too bulky to mount in a small condo. Some times Sonos drops when I play Spotify--really frustrating and random.

I really like the new Five. I will say, very little difference in overall sound, but the sound quality is as good as the older version 5s. It does require Version 2 of the app and controller, so if you have older models, it may leave you stuck between retaining your older speakers and allowing the new to exist inside the same app. Overall, another great product.

I did not know SONOS made such wonderful speakers. We paired the FIVE with a MOVE and the results sound amazing in our living room and in our camper. The FIVE delivers smooth bass and mids. The vocals are crisp and clear. We enjoy the FIVE alone, but when paired with the Move, it’s just wonderful.
