2017, sonos alexa is not ready, will it in 2018?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At home, I own the sonos playbar, subwoofer, 2 play5's second gen, 2 play3's , and 4 play1's, a boost, and a connect for my stereo. And I use the Alexa dot to run my sonos play1 at work. So yes, I am a card carrying sonos fanboy. I really, really wanted to throw away my alexa dot and embrace the Sonos one with Alexa. Instead, I returned the Sonos one. Why? Well the sound quality was fine, at least as good as my play 1's. Don't know if better, that would have required more testing. I just could never get Alexa to work. She could tell me the weather but not control my speakers. Um, hello? I don't know if she was confused because i already had an account or what. Alexa on the sonos one just refused to play nice. I'm a sonos veteran, sometimes it does get tricky and you have to google. But when I got to the point where I saw a lot of people having trouble and recommending I power down my whole network and reinitialize everything, and toggle things back and forth while rubbing my tummy... I said nope. This s**t aint ready yet. Back it went. Sure, no doubt sometime in 2018 sonos will release a software patch, that is the beauty of sonos, but darn, when I buy something new, I want it to at least work a little. Is that asking too much? I struggled with giving it 3 stars because it is good sound.. but eh, why reward a company for rushing a product? Instead I bought another play 1. There that showed them! LOL. No doubt there is a sonos with alexa in my future, just not this christmas.

Great addition to my Sound System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already had an Alexa and the Sonos Sound bar (great sound). I wanted to have a richer sound from the Alexa Dot so I chose to get this speaker. It connects with my Soundbar and also is an Alexa speaker. Now I have better sound with the ALexa in the kitchen when I connect to SiriusXM or Pandora or even all of my music on iTunes plus I have the advantage of wirelessly connecting the Sound bar in the next room to really fill the house with music. Perfect arrangement !

Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After one week I’m very happy with my Sonos One . I listen to music on it more than anything. Amazon Prime music, several radio stations across the country and Internet-only networks. One thing I noticed is that its robust, room-filling sound comes at a price: a weak high end. If only it had an equalizer . . .

Great Sound!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought three of these for my apartment to go with my beam. They have amazing sound, the alexa works great and sonos app is awesome. The only thing I would say is because two of them are being used in the surround sound mod they automatically deactivate Alexa. If you have a beam and you are doing a home theater set up you can save a little money by getting the play1 instead, but at least if I change my set up one day they will have Alexa.

Works as advertised!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the new Sonos One to add voice command to my current Sonos system. Not too difficult to set up and works as it should. Same great sound that is present in the rest of my Sonos system.

Wonderful Speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since our first Sonos, we've really fallen in love with the system. Its simple enough for my luddite wife to use, but still sounds good enough for me, an A/V enthusiast. We purchased the Sonos One for our kitchen and it looks fantastic and sounds great. The speaker is loud enough for the smallish area it rests, but we are already thinking of getting a second for stereo sound or even upgrading to the Play:5.

The Star Of The Show!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sonos One with Alexa completed our collection of 5 Sonos players. Having Alexa in the living room is like having a new member of the family to help us play music ~ she’s the star of the show!

Great sound out of a small speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound out of a small speaker. It doesn’t replace my stereo system; however, the quality of sound is extremely acceptable and enjoyable to listen to Considering the convenience and the availability throughout the house. Bass response is very good but if you’re looking for something to back the nails out of your drywall it won’t do that but then I don’t like that kind of bass anyway Because it’s not a natural sound.

Amazing sound and awesome app!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made the switch from the comparable Bose system after getting tired of promises of Airplay 2 and I haven’t looked back. I’m in love with my Sonos speakers. They sound amazing, balanced and clear for the mids and highs with a surprising amount of low end and bass. Plus their app is really good. You name the service and they probably support it, if not you have Airplay 2 (assuming you’re an Apple user.)

Awesome sound and Great Microphone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's absolutely amazing that this speaker can put out so much great sound, yet at any volume, it hears me when I ask Alexa for anything. This is a great speaker for any part of your home!

Awesome Speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sonos speakers have changed my life! I love the Sonos one, it is incredibly easy to set up and the sound is incredible. I now have one in every room in my apartment and it makes listening to music and podcasts a serene and wonderful experience. Sometimes it takes it a moment for all the speakers to pair up when you first start playing music, but after a moment they all come together harmoniously and it is wonderful!

You get what you pay for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sonos is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The sound from the Sonos One is amazing. Setup via the Sonos app is simple. Integration with music services (Amazon Music, Pandora, local content, Plex, and many others) is seamless and search is global across all of them. Combine this with a Sonos soundbar and other Sonos Ones (or Play:1s) and you have an unbeatable, flexible whole-home music solution. Highly recommended.
