We purchased this unit to simply play music; however, we’ve been pleasantly surprised with not only the sound quality but the addition of Alexa. Set-up was simple and we love the ability to control the unit via voice control or mobile app.

I was given a couple of sonos play:1’s for Christmas and decided that having airplay 2 and Alexa were worth the extra money so I exchanged them. I am extremely happy with my decision and love everything about these speakers. I love that I can group them together to play the same music with no lag or play separate songs on each of them if my wife doesn’t want to listen to the same music. Having Alexa is a major plus as I can change the music or turn the volume up or down while in the shower. The setup is extremely easy and like that the app allows you to play from multiple streaming services. These are far better than a Bluetooth speaker because you can turn music on and leave and not have any issues with the music as they are connected through WiFi. I liked them so much I already bought a third and plan on picking up a sound bar shortly.

So the Sonos One Gen 1 has been a fantastic device, we've had it in the house for a little under two years. It has received numerous updates to improve the usability. I purchased this device, not expecting it to have Google Home capabilities, at the time we were using Amazon Alexa at the time so it was fine. But with the addition of the Google Assistant, this is by far one of the best sounding assistants you can get. I have noticed it does not pick-up some times, but that may be, because another device is trying to grab my voice unclear. 90% of the time it's great. Sound is rich, a little more on the bassy side, but not an obnoxious amount, but just a few touches into the bass. Would recommend if you can still find them, or upgrade to the GEN 2 which i hear is just future proofed with more processing power.

Nice speaker for the living room. Good sound, very easy to set up.

I love the idea of the Alexa built in, but I had originally thought that it could be separated from Alexa, but it needs to be in conjunction with the Alexa.

I love the Alexa enabled Sonos ones. Most difficult task that I had was finding a bracket that supports them. Sound is great, and easy to pull in my streaming music simply by asking. Look great, and sound awesome, paired, and with sound bar in room.

Very good sound with Alexa capabilities. Sound seems about the same as the Play 1.

Bought the One after lots of research. I bought my son the Bose color link and listened to it for a while. There is no comparison in the two. Sonos has a deeper richer sound than the Bose. Easy to set up. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because Alexa and Apple Music don’t play together well and causes a slight hiccup in navigating music on app.

First time using a sound system without built in speakers or a receiver. The set up with the SONOS system was very simple and worked the first time. I love the ability to move the speakers room to room. The sound from these speakers is amazing.

This is a great speaker for my kitchen or bathroom. The sound quality is great for the size of the speaker and having Alexa integrated is fantastic.

I have Sonos speakers & accessories throughout my home and I just added the latest Sonos One with Alexa capability. I love it..same great sound as all Sonos product, looks high-tech and elegant and having Alexa feature is hugely convenient.

This speaker is on another level. On top of that it is amazon Alexa enabled.

Great sounding speaker. Bought it to add another room to my Sonos system - in general it’s great to have the Alexa capability. However, a few times it has thought I said Alexa while I was talking to my wife and it started jabbering.

Totally elated with the addition of voice commands with the Sonos speakers.
