I picked up two of these speakers as an impulse buy. As my home has slowly become more and more "intelligent" and I have more wifi enabled devices I started to recognize that the sound on my Echo just hadn't been cutting it. Installation and set up was super easy, Alexa is just as responsive on the Sono's as the Echo. If you have more than one speaker you do need to specify where you want the device to play (i.e Alexa, play the Death Cab for Cutie in the kitchen) but I look at that as a feature rather than detractor. The Sono's app is also very slick in that it can sync up with Apple Music and Calm (a meditation app). So I can switch from music in the bedroom to quite rain as background noise to help me sleep. But the most impressive feature about this product is that it sounds amazing! I've been a Bose guy for a long time ( I have the quite comfort headphones and 5.1 home theater set up) and I'm telling you these are pretty much equal. If you want a high quality Alexa enabled smart speaker that you can set up in every room of your house...this is the one to buy!

With the sound bar these are great addition. Alexa is neat but need to turn off all but one otherwise all Alexis answering

Sonos works well and sounds great in our kitchen/dining area. Alexa's voice control makes for great, hands-free listening.

These are decent sounding speakers and paired up so easily with my smart hub and Amazon Echo. But I wanted something that I could hook up and control with Echo system. These do work but with Alexa commands. But they DO NOT play music along with Amazon Alexa products. So you cant say Alexa play music in Kitchen or play music everywhere. I ended up going with a Harman Kardon powered speaker plugged into an Alexa Dot. The speaker sounds so much better and about the same price.

I very much enjoy these speakers for the richness of sound. Most especially, I like the ability to use WiFi to connect my computer or cell phone to the speakers via Spotify or Amazon Music. It has been a new music experience, with the ability to direct different sources of music to each speaker at the same time.

I have a sonos playbase and sub woofer in my family room. I wanted to try the sonos one for the kitchen. Cannot believe the sound quality. I also picked up Alexa as well which I did not have before. Easy to add to existing system. Also can serve as a booster if need be but I am not using that feature at this time.

Its a great piece that we use in the kitchen of our house and we are also hoping to use on the deck in the summer time

Really enjoying the Alexa built-in to this Sonos speaker. The software is still in beta so don’t expect it to work perfectly. Encounters some issues in grouping speakers but stills works well overall.

We have one other Sonos play1, the sound base, the soundbar, the bass, a google home, an Amazon tap, and amazon echo. We recently got the google home and will be doing away with both amazon products. Adding Alexa to the play 1 seems like a great idea except for two reasons (1) you have to be super specific for her to get your request right (i.e. "Alexa, please play Clair De Lune Radio Station Via Pandora on Oliver's Room Sonos")--even then she sometimes doesn't get it (2) The Sonos Play 1 Alexa can't do the same things that Alexa can do on the Tap or Echo/Echo Dot... so at its current state I shut the Alexa off and just use this speaker as part of my Sonos system. Alexa...get your act together.

Excellent speakers. Set them up for stereo sound with Sonos soundbar. Excellent sound. I can stream music from the internet, from a local hd of music or stream a podcast or book on Audible. Very versatile. Alexa is integrated too although I have limited use for that so far. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

My wife always wanted music in the kitchen. We have other Sonos equipment for our home and love their products. So, buying the Sonos One was a no brainer. Happy we did!...especially with Alexa built in. Makes it so easy to play music, get the weather / time, etc... Just have to ask. No app! Simple!

I am not suppose to know I have this. Sounded very nice in store when just looking with my wife. I am sure I like it.

I use smart speakers around the house but wanted something integrated. These speakers sound great, have Alexa built in and will support Google Assistant soon without having to buy a new product ... That's perfect for those that don't want to buy into a walled garden. I love these, they sound great and set up easily.

The Sonos One has great sound and works well with Alexa. Once paired to other speakers in your home you can play the same song in all areas, different songs in different areas or simply play in one area of the house. Also, the speakers can be paired for left and right channels for stereo sound.

This was our first Sonos product and was sold immediately on the quality. Sound is sensational with great bass. Alexa is a perfect addition and so ease to play any of our music library with voice commands. Have added Beam, sub, move and connect.

We are in the process of building a new home and were surprised at the cost of a decent whole home sound system. I read reviews of the quality of the Sonos system, so we purchased a couple of the Sonos One units to try out. The set up was relatively easy for a nongeek. The first unit took about 35 minutes to get up because I did not complete the Amazon app properly. The second unit took maybe 5 minutes. I have played both individually and synced them together. The sound is wonderful separately but even better together. I later found that the Sonos app contains an equalizer so you can change the sound to your taste. This is the way I am going for our new home. My next purchase will be another Sonos One and a couple of the Play 5 speakers for even better sound. Eventually I will get the Sonos Surround 5.1. My grandson starts his day with an Alexa dinosaur joke. I check the weather forecast every morning as well. It is so easy to use. It is not very often that I have to state something twice to Alexa to get the desired response.

The sounds is great but every now and then alexa will turn on without anyone saying anything. I am hoping they get that fixed soon because it is a bit annoying. The sound quality though s amazing.

The sound quality is amazing. One of the best speakers I have listened to. The clarity and base are great. Works with your smartphones and tablets. The build quality feels expensive. Looks very modern and elegant. Cons: Requires Wi-fi at all times. Need to download an app to set up.

We love our Sonos speaker. The voice activation is so handy. This speaker has great sound for no larger than it is

I love music. I do not love spending $1000's on music. So yeah I'm sure there are better options for a much higher price. But two of these stereo paired is pretty close to magic for under $400. As an aside we own a Play5 which is a great speaker too but I would take 2 One's paired over the 5.
