Christmas present for my son & he was very excited. He has two but they aren't voice activated.

I absolutely love my sonos one. The alexa is easy to use. I listen to it all the time. I really like being able to control the unit using voice instead of having to walk all over the house to change channels or volume. I recommend spending the extra $50 for the Alexa option.

Sonos is known for quality. Alexa is a perfect addition to the speaker. I also believe only this model will be HomeKit ready (not the play 1) so this is the right choice.

Purchased along with a Beam Soundbar. Works really well as surround system or re-configure for whole house. Love the Alexa integration, sound quality, device quality and perfect setup. Sonos App is very easy and well featured. I use w/Amazon music sewrvicees.

Great Start or Addition to home audio setup. Great sound, simple controls, and seamless integration and upgrade capability make it a great buy! The only drawback is app has limited control for deleting or changing rooms you setup for streaming.

The Sonos One is the first digital assistant speaker that I have been fully satisfied with audio playback quality. The Sonos One is essentially a Play:1 merged with an Echo Dot. Sound is much more even than the 2nd generation Echo which is bass heavy, or the Echo Dot which sounds tinny. Compared to the Google Home speaker, the Sonos One provides more room-filling sound and groups with your other Sonos speakers. The only negative to the Sonos One is that it does not include the Alexa calling (i.e. speakerphone) or drop-in (i.e. intercom) features that are available on an Amazon branded Echo device. I'm not sure this will change if it is a strategic choice by Amazon to differentiate their devices from other Alexa-enabled speakers.

I purchased this speaker to use as an add on to my connect for use in the kitchen. It delivers great sound and allows music to fill our whole downstairs area when added to my home theatre system with Sonos my connect. Alexa functionality is a great bonus!

I purchased this for my mom for christmas. It sounds the same as the play 1s do, but features alexa and an all black finish, which is sweet looking. She uses this on her kitchen counter to listen to music and use alexa for news, weather, cooking timers.

Use it almost 8 hrs a day. Alexa is a plus but the 5.1 setup with the playbar is the best.

I really love the way these link up with other sonos speakers but also work independently.

I was looking at complimenting a connect amp and purchased this item. The sound is great and pairs easily with the connect amp so I can pair both or listen to two different things at one time. Alexa works well also. Will likely purchase 2 more in future.

I selected this speaker on the recommendation of my Best Buy sales specialist. I am hearing impaired and was having difficulty comprehending TV speech with a new Sonos Play Bar which allegedly was supposed to be the best for direct TV speech sound. The Play Bar failed to improve over my prior Samsung sound bar but I was beyond my guaranteed free return date. I thought that if I got a sound source closer to my ears my hearing issue might improve. With the Blue Tooth feature the Sonos One duplicates the Play Bar sound and placing it on a table right next to me it did the job of providing me greatly improved speech comprehension. It is vastly better and more natural than the voice coming from the Play bar. It's a pricy way to solve my hearing problem but with the added ALEXA benefit this model provides, I am pleased with the results of my purchase.

exceptionally easy set up and pairing. Great sound from a compact unit. Pairs w other Sonos speakers for full dynamic sound. Easy set up with Alexa. Easy set up with music providers (Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, etc ) This is my 4th Sonos speaker. Great Product.
