This speaker sounds great. It just gets pricey for a full surround sound experience with these speakers.

We bought this to add to our already existing Sonos system. The sound is better than the original, and the original is great. Clear sound, no static at high volumes and Alexa works great to control our whole system throughout the house. The sonos App is easy to use and install with great functionality. Would highly recxomens

Love this Speaker; I use it as part of our surround system, sounds amazing and very easy to set up. My only complaint is that Alexa does not have its own volume outside of the speaker, so if your listening to music or watch a movie and say “Alexa turn off the lights” or something it literally screams back at you.

Having Alexa available in various areas of the house is helpful. She doesn’t always find my Sonos playlists, but keeps getting better with each app update. My thoughts on these speakers have gone from “why did I pay extra for this” to “I am glad Alexa was in this room to save me a few steps.”

They just work. The latest speaker with voice is an improvement to using the echo dot. Much better experience.

Nice addition to an existing Sonos System. however, Alexa has a hard time with some accents and inflections. Moving from Pandora to Radio etc. is clunky. But overall we like it. Absolutely LOVE Sonos!

This speaker is great. Alexa baled to play all my favorite music. Excellent sound for such a small speaker. Hooks up throughout the house and sound as good as old hi if equipment. You can add more speakers throughout the house in as many rooms as you want. Stream all you want and to any or all rooms.

The device has a great sound, and a number of apps besides Amazon Alexa, Apple Music, Google Music, Pandora, Sirius XM, etc. Very difficult to make it work first time, the app is unfriendly customer support is average. However once you make it work, it is excellent. I would recommended as long as the person that will be using the device has some computer knowledge.

I absolutely love my Sonos speakers. I can use Alexa or Google with them. I utilize both speakers as my back surround sound. Amazing. We tend to always hear things that you normally wouldn't hear such as rain, the different music production etc etc..definitely worth the purchase.

We bought a pair of these to use as stereo in our living room . They take the place of an entertainment center full of components and no remotes needed. It is great to just tell her what you want to here. We plan on expanding the system to the deck this summer with another one and who knows how many more rooms.

I consider myself an audiophile. Sonos speakers are amazing. I have a variety of 7 of their speakers and I will not buy any other brand. I am so in love with their speakers, that I have started to purchase them as gifts. Everyone is blown away by these! Having Alexa built in is a fantastic bonus!

A perfect marriage of AI and quality audio. Whether used as a mono stand alone device, set up as a stereo pair or as part of a 3.1 or 5.1 surround, the SONOS Play One provides full range audio with beautifully tight lows and radiant highs. Excellently engineered and well worth the modest purchase price.

This is a smart speaker that matters in the market. It will eventually have all the major services on it. So it doesn't limit you and allows you to add to it over the time if you don't want to pay it all up front for the full setup. Sounds great, looks great, and Sonos is a great product.

I purchased this Sonos One for my wife to use as it links with Amazon Alexa. I've several other Play 1 speakers around the house and they are absolutely amazing with incredible sound. I'd recommend these speakers to anyone that has no interest in pulling wire or a big bill from instillation.

    Not bad sound system

Ok, let me start by saying I have airplay (1) speakers all over my house, I had one Sonos and one echo dot and SmartThings hub. The Sonos sort of integrated with SmartThings but the Sonos interface is not so good, and every time you start to get proficient, Sonos will update the interface to make sure it’s still difficult. Unfortunately Sonos didn’t play friendly with the rest of my speakers so I’d leave it unplugged unless I had company hanging out in the kitchen. When Sonos added airplay 2 support I was more hopeful and with Alexa (echo) functionality built-in, maybe this will be useful since echo is fully integrated with my SmartThings. After setting it up I still think the Sonos app is junk, and the echo functionality is not fully supported either. So at least I no longer need to open the Sonos app to play music and it does sound better than the echo dot, but an all in one solution it is not. Sonos makes you sign in to their app, but doesn’t support airplay passwords or echo routines. If your ok with those limitations it’s alright, though airplay 1 still has some benefits over airplay 2 and adding one airplay compatible speaker to your Sonos will make them all play from airplay if you want it.
