I liked this speaker so much I went and bought another one. The two can be linked to play the same song.

I keep going back to these speakers. So easy to use, no wiring and awesome sound! I now have 4 of the ONES, a THREE and a new FIVE. All are exceptional. The new Alexa enabled One I just bought is amazing. She is intuitive and works flawlessly! Don’t hesitate to purchase this brand at all!

Alexa services makes Sonos experience even better. We have Sonos Amps in most areas of our home and wish they had this feature. The One itself sounds great! Kids have one in each of their rooms and listen to all music types now. Mom loves it, because she can turn them on and off from her app!

My sister in law put a bunch of these things around the house. They sound so good I had to buy one. I got a play 5. It will rock your socks off. I got this play 1 for my daughter. Man, when I was her age, you needed all kindsa equipment to make sound this good. Absolutely amazing.

I've been debating on getting an Alexa device for some time now, but speaker quality was holding me back. Once I heard this in store, it was a must have! The speaker sounds awesome, but Alexa could use some work (hence 4 stars). Overall, I'm very happy with this speaker & definitely would recommend. I'm sure Sonos will update Alexa in the coming months to add new features, plus I hear Google Assistant will be coming soon as well!

This unit, when coupled with our other Sonos speakers, is amazing. Like other Alexa items it reminds you occasionally it is always listening by responding when nothing was asked of Alexa. If you have one or more Alexa devices it gets a bit wordy about which device you wish to listen with. Changing the call name on one of the devices would remedy some of that as now both would not respond in unison.

Bought a pair of Sonos Ones for our covered patio area. Once a power source was set up, we were in business! They sound great and we use them to steam songs from our iPhones & iPads when we are out back. Of course, having Alexa available makes them more functional and fun!

Sounds great but doesn’t have any functionality other than music. Alexa won’t control my doors, lights or tv like other devices. So I have another amazon device but had to change its name to echo. So for music I say Alexa and every thing else call out echo. The music controls can be confusing too. If in amazon music you have to use the Sonos app to control the volume and music buttons. But, sounds great.

Sonos just makes a great product! I have many Sonos speakers throughout my home. I started with my whole house sounds almost 6 years ago. Now that the Sonos - One includes Alexa it is great that I can verbally request music to be played wherever I want throughout my home.

As far as the Sonos part of it- it works great- sounds great- Sonos app is. Little dumb to navigate, I’ve read a lot about the restyled app is worse. Oh well. No going back. Only weird thing is Alexa pipes up quite a few times I don’t address her. Weird. Maybe she’s hopeful, or lonely.

I was gifted the Sonos One Black for Christmas. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Alexa.. I would much rather have Google assistant but overall the setup was easy and the sound was fantastic. I know it's an Amazon supported device so it would obviously default to playing Amazon Music but I thought it was unfortunate that I couldn't use voice commands to have it play from my Google Play Music library. That was ok though since I could still play from Google Music through the Sonos app- I just had to do it manually rather than voice commands. Since this was a Christmas gift I exchanged it for a Sonos One White and that's when everything went downhill. If we had only purchased this black speaker I would have happily given it 4 stars (-1 just for the stuff listed above) but my experience is with the Sonos One overall so I'll tell you what happened with the Sonos One white. (Before starting the installation process for the white speaker I removed both Sonos and Alexa apps from my phone to reinstall) 1. From the beginning said that the speaker was already setup and wouldn't allow us to join. Had to do a hard reset right out of the box. 2. When I tried to pair the speaker to my network it wouldn't find my network.. My router was across the room- 20 ft away. Then it wouldn't accept my password that my husband and I both typed it even though it was correct. 3. After failed attempts it said for me to connect to a temporary network called SONOS that the speaker created. I checked 3x and on the 3rd attempt it was there. It then asked for me to enter my router password again which it would not accept. 4. It finally directed me to plug in an Ethernet cord- the direct link worked and I was able to "complete" the configuration. I say "complete" because I technically had a speaker but it didn't function properly... 5. I added Google Music and Amazon Music to the Sonos speaker and went through the Alexa setup, but when I would asked Alexa to play music it would says "unable to play ___ music- go to Alexa app -> skills -> add Sonos and than ask Alexa to search for all devices"... OKAY. so I read multiple trouble shooting possibilities last night from making sure my location was correct, to uninstalling and reinstalling alexa, etc. Under skills Sonos was listed (I removed and re-added and that didn't help) so I asked Alexa to search for devices (which I didn't have any other then this one speaker) so she said no other devices found.. So, rinse and repeat, I asked several more times for her to play music.. to only be told the same message about going into Alexa -> skills -> blah blah blah. 6. so I decided to log into my husbands amazon account instead of mine to see if that would work. That resolved the issue with the above message but created a new issue. The new issue was that I would ask Alexa to play music and it would say "Ok, playing Christmas music from iHeart radio". I don't have iHeart radio.. nor have I ever used it. I never downloaded it to the Sonos app and I quadruple checked the Alexa app to make sure that under Music -> the default music service selected was Amazon music NOT iHeart radio yet it would still say "playing music from iHeart radio" when given a command and than there would be silence.. (probably because I didn't have iHeart radio....) After over an hour to 2 hours trying to get this speaker set up and playing music we gave up. I could not find any troubleshooting for an issue like this on the web so my husband ended up returning it to Best Buy today. I have mixed feelings whether I would recommend this product. Personally I would want to get another one (assuming the white one just had some sort of malfunction) but after having two, one that was excellent and the other that we returned I'd say there's a 50/50 chance of getting one that works from my experience. :/ Very dissatisfied with those odds. an Ethernet cord from my router.. The direct link worked and it then said it was going to make it's own network connection called SONOS to connect to under WiFi on my phone.. 2 out of the 3 times I searched nothing showed up and on the 3rd attempt it was there.

I have Sonos zones all though my house .This one I added to my bathroom. When I get up every morning and can ask Alexa to tell me today's news or play a play list. The sound is very good and is well made. The only knock on this is you can't rename the wake up word. You have to call it Alexa.

Great sound quality and playback features. The integration with Alexa is a bit buggy, but I am willing to tolerate those issues due to the superior sound quality compared to the Echo devices. It works great with Pandora, XM Online, Bluetooth and other services.

I have a Sonos Play One, and really enjoy it. When I heard they were adding Alexa capability, I bought this and was going to pair as a stereo set. however, this doesn't pair with the Play One. Sonos really dropped the ball here. I returned this, and will probably wait for the price to drop more on the old Play One and buy another one of those.

Overall great sound for the size and lots of Amazon verbal functions. The larger speakers project much fuller sound, with more base, although these are great as a pair for stereo effect in a bedroom. Still very expensive, although you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

This is the Gen1 Sonos One, but it still supports Apply Air Play and sounds great. I mounted these on the Sanus floor stands and put them in the back of my room paired with the playbar and sub. Great surround sound for movies and excellent audio when playing music.

I recently bought a set of these Sonos - One speakers. I had known about Sonos for a while and their reputation for sound quality for a while now, but the kicker for me was that it now incorporated Google Assistant. It sounded like this would make a Sonos speaker the best Google Assistant speaker on the market. What I had forgotten about Sonos though is that you either have to have one of the speakers hard connected to an ethernet cable, OR, you have to pony up an additional $100 to get the bridge to make the speakers connect wirelessly. That meant that the two spots I had picked out for the speakers didn't ultimately work (or at least one of them didn't) and I had to go buy an ethernet cable much longer than the one that came in the box. I ended up returning the speakers because of this hastle and also because I think they're still working out the kinks with Google Assistant on Sonos. A couple times I asked for music to play from Google Play Music and it told me the content was unavailable. I'm still giving it 3 stars for sound quality, but I was disappointed with the convenience factor.

This was very easy to set up and it sounds great. It is more than $100 less than the homepod (even more when on sale!) A worthy purchase. It is slightly less "bassy" than the homepod. Whether that is good or bad is a matter of personal preference.
