However, customers are negative about the lack of Bluetooth connectivity and some inconsistencies with the voice assistant and app functionality. This was a gift for a friend to upgrade the music experience and it definitely did that. Sound was great and portability made it easy to move around the house. Setting up the controller on the phone and new computer took longer than expected based on having done this on my phone and computers for an older generation, but overall was OK.

After doing research and purchasing (then returning) several other brands that have better sound quality, I ended up purchasing the Sonos One and have been very happy with the results so far. They don't have the best sound quality, but their size, ease of use and app make up for that in my opinion. We have a few throughout the house, like one in the kitchen, one in our bedroom. It's plenty loud for just a small speaker and doesn't get in the way. I thought we would end up using the voice assistant built in, but honestly using the already home integrate Google assistant was better, so we just muted the mic on this and then bought a few others without the mic. It's the only device out of everything else I own that wouldn't connect to my regular WiFi, so I just had to create a IoT SSID and it connected just fine. Overall, I'd buy them again vs the other brands with better quality sound.

Sonos For My Wireless Speaker System - Very Happy

The last audio system I had was when I was in high school. It was a stereo (Look it up, kids.) My entire life I have used my tv speakers and a portable ‘boom box’ for any music. During the summer I decided it was time to upgrade. I wanted a GOOD wireless speaker system for my home that could connect to my podcasts, my music, Audible... Wireless to keep things easy and neat. I researched for months. Quality, price, aesthetics were the priorities. I chose Sonos because they were the best (based on reviews) and a bit above my price range but this is forever. And I knew I could slowly build up the system. Plus...they are cheaper as open box or refurbished.... Yes. I love them. I have 3 in 3 different rooms and I will add a couple more in time. The sound is outstanding. Loud and with so much texture. The words are so clear. The music actually resonates literally not just figuratively. And I love coupling speakers from different rooms together based on what house task I am doing. And there aren’t wires everywhere. I chose the white color because they blend so well with my decor. Large soundly enjoyment from small white nondescript boxes. Soooo long story short. They are a great product.

I love these speakers. They give off so much sound for their size. Relatively easy set up for anybody. Quality sound for a great price. When you put four or five of these around the house your whole house has great sound. If you want to go with some of the more expensive bigger speakers it gets even better.

I’m sold on Sonos and contemplated using a smaller Sonos speaker for my surround system. Glad I went with these. More money that their smaller speakers designed for back channels, yet these have more “umph”. They can play a critical lower-profile role as a back speaker set and yet can also fill the room with volume when you’re playing music instead.

We added two of Ones and the subwoofer to our home theater to supplement the Sonos playbar we got when we bought our new tv, and we wish we had done it sooner. The surround sound is so much better this way. We had no idea what we were missing. The extra speakers were easy to set up and adjust using the app. Highly recommend.

Love Sonos! The sound quality is amazing! A few years ago, we purchased the Sonos One. We liked it but weren't sure if it was the right fit for what we were looking for. So we returned it and tried the comparable Bose. Was NOT a fan... AT ALL. It sounded so empty...no umph behind it. The Sonos was way better. But we still couldn't decide if it was enough for the room we wanted it for. We found a Sonos Play 5 in the open box section in excellent condition for quite a steal. Because of it's sound over the Sonos One, that's what we went with. And my how we fell in love with that speaker! Time went by and we needed a speak for another room, so where did we go, but to the Sonos One. Bought it again. It's perfect! It's in the corner of this smaller room and it sounds so full. Absolutely perfect! Love playing the same thing throughout the house on both speakers or changing it up from room to room. Hoping to get another Sonos One at some point to add to another room. I used to be a Bose girl, but now Sonos has my heart! I don't think you can go wrong with this speaker.

Bought this during the holiday sale hoping to supplement my Google Assistant speakers in the house with something that sounds better. This certainly does the trick, it sounds so much better than the original Google Home and the Nest Home Hub. Like, A LOT better. I also purchased one of the new Nest Audio speakers for comparison. The gap in audio quality was definitely closed compared to older Google/Nest offerings but the Sonos still won out. As a note, the speaker does support being used as a Google Assistant smart speaker but it DOES NOT SUPPORT CHROMECAST. This means you cannot use this device to push audio from your phone unless you use the Sonos app or a music service that integrates Sonos (GPM or Spotify). You can also not add it to Google Home speaker groups. That being said, it sounds way better than the alternative Google offerings. If you end up with multiple, you can group them through Sonos, either as multi-room or a stereo pair. You also have the flexibility to use these are rear channels in a surround setup if you decide to buy a Sonos surround bar....so the use cases for these are pretty wide.

Great Sound Quality and the Best AI on the Market

The Alexa AI is far superior to anything else on the market and brings another level of pleasure to using the Sonos speaker. For a simple One (the smallest of the Sonos speakers) it has incredible sound and really fills a small living room. Its a tremendous deal and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their system.

SONOS is THE BEST Speaker I have ever HEARD in recent times. The quality, the crispness, the Wi-Fi connectivity which is very quick and smart - Loved the speaker. SONOS does not have bluetooth but can be connected via Wi-Fi which seems to be faster and can be accessed with all devices. Definitely worth a shot for the price and features!

I got my 1st Sonos One about 5 years ago. I had been using an ancient transistor radio to listen to NPR when i was in the shower. When that failed, the Sonos gave me radio PLUS internet playlists and voice command that yielded time, weather reports, and so much more. Now I have 7 Sonos speakers throughout the house. Reproduction quality is really good for small speakers and they are durable for moisture in my bathroom and dust in my garage. There is a learning curve for the phone app, but young minds will have no problem.

Good sound, super flexible to use as a home theater component, speaker for a room or pairs to create A great sound in nearly any room. Super easy to set up. I use the Alexa function much more than I initially thought I would. Is this a super high end name to drop with guests in your home? No. But it sounds great and is very versatile.

This product comes with amazing technology! Very easy to install into the home Wi-Fi network. The software is extremely easy to use and intuitive… It just works! I compared it to the Bose sound touch 10 sets of speakers. I wanted to make a whole home sound system. even though the Sonos was so much easier to set up and use, The Bose sound came shining through. for whatever it’s worth, I gave Bose four stars as well because the software was not very intuitive. however, my choice was Bose because of the sound… Because that’s what it all boils down to.
