Sonos speakers can be an acquired taste. You are signing up for an internet connected speaker for the most part but with added airplay feature they now function basically as a Bluetooth speaker. I have several Sonos speakers so perhaps my review is a bit biased. They sound they put out to my ears is very good. I really like why i hear from just 1 speaker. Pair up 2 of these and use the in app tuning to give you a fantastic sound experience.

The speaker has great sound and looks great. However the connection with Amazon Alexa is VERY finicky. I bought three of these and only one works and that one is on and off given the day...smart Alexa app needs help

You must get at least two. Great quality and easy to set up. Once you have two you can set up as surround sound.

I added these guys to my beam and sub in my master bedroom setup. They sit on the sonos soeaker stands in surround mode to the beam and sub. They added so much more immersion to my system. This is my bedroom system but my wife and I can enjoy movies at high and low volumes with detail!

Sonos does a great job with the setup process, features, and ease of use. Something other companies absolutely fail at. The speaker is a great size and built very well. The biggest issue though is that, like most Sonos products, it sounds pretty bad. The lows are nice, but the mids are muddy and highs don't exist at all. If Sonos can figure out how to make a speaker that sounds great, they would be a hit. If you are tone deaf, then I would recommend this because of features and ease of setup & use is so much better than other brands.

This was an add on item to my system. We love this speaker - amazing quality and linked to our Sony TV very easily.
