Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the One (Gen 2) Smart Speaker's sound quality, ease of use, and compact size, with many praising its setup process and bass response. However, customers are negative about the lack of Bluetooth connectivity and some inconsistencies with the voice assistant and app functionality. A better Google Assistant
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my shower companion, I have it set up with the Google Assistant and I have to say, the mic works better than the Nest Audio, the volume is easily 2x. I use this daily via voice assistant and AirPlay both experiences are simple and pleasant to use. You could also use the Sonos app but I find that in the bathroom Assistant wins out 99% of the time.

Nearly 5 out of 5 (Satisfied Customer)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Aside from occasional glitches with the Amazon app/functionality, I've been really pleased with this smart speaker. No speaker this small is going to blow my mind in terms of audio, but the Sonos One (Gen 2) is pretty impressive. It has surprisingly clear and full sound with significantly better base than I expected. It's not so much that it has impressive bass as much as it just doesn't sound like it's missing anything. From a speaker this small, it's honestly impressive. I like the phone app and the ability to use different services from one smart speaker. Since switching from an Amazon Echo to this one though, I do notice I occasionally have to reboot it to get through a glitch where Alexa thinks she has played the music I requested when she hasn't. Going back and forth with the Amazon Echo, the problem appears to be with the Sonos. It happens pretty infrequently and rebooting the Sonos resolves it each time. I'm guessing a software update will fix it permanently at some point. I didn't exactly what to shell out real money for such a small speaker, but feel like the quality has been worth it.

A Compact, Powerful AirPlay 2 Companion
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to ditch all of the wires and clutter from my old TV sound system for something sleek, wireless and just as robust sounding. So, I paired two Sonos One (Gen 2) speakers and I relocated my Sonos sub from another room to add punch. My only regret is that I didn't make this move sooner. This Sonos One was easy to setup with the app. I was up and running with a paired set in 15 minutes or less. I then needed to connect them with my AppleTV box using AirPlay 2. That process took a bit longer navigating the AppleTV software, but after the connection was made the speakers worked beautifully. Before I got the Sonos Ones, I briefly paired a couple of Apple HomePod Minis. Of course, that setup was easy because the TV box and speakers are all part of the Apple ecosystem. The HomePod Minis were solid, but the sound wasn't deep enough. The Sonos Ones were a significant step up in audio quality.

Great Sonos speaker
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have come to love SONOS products. They sound so good and very clear. The Sonos 1 does not disappoint. For its size, it plays fairly loud and remains clear. We love that it supports Alexa and you can stream music to it from any phone. I grouped several Sonos products that didn’t support AirPlay and played it through the Sonos 1 for music everywhere.

GETTING ANOTHER 1!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already had a Sonos Beam and wanted an easy setup for surround sound in my family room. Easy to setup really used the Sonos app just like I did with the Beam it needed like a 3 minute update. After that connected the Beam to this and the difference feeling the sound from both directions. This thing gets LOUD with great overall quality. I’m buying another one to complete the surround setup.

Good upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from Sonos play One since this model has airplay2 and Voice commands. Overall good speaker with lots of bass. Connecting to WiFi wasn’t easy and had to connect to Ethernet cable first to get it to work. Had to remove Alexa Sonos skills and add again to get commands to work correctly. Returned my HomePod Mini since it had no built in subwoofer like these.

Awesome sound!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own multiple Beams and a Playbar and love the sound and the connectivity with Alexa and Siri. I bought a Sonos One to put in the bathroom until I installed the ceiling speakers, but the sound is so good, and it’s really unobtrusive so I might leave it there. It’s easy to connect and the Alexa feature is a nice addition. Sonos products are expensive, but you get what you pay for, reliable quality.

Nice, but pricy
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little speaker you can build on but a little too pricy. If you are looking for a pair of small bookshelf speakers, take a look at Klipsch The Fives. You usually can get them on sales (500-600) and they will blow the Sonos away.

Fantastic product! Only one problem.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know Sonos products can be rather expensive compared to others (although the prices have been dropping), but they work great, sound great and are very easy to setup and use; not to mention extremely versatile. I've been using them for years and they are definitely worth the money. However, there is one significant down side. It requires an internet connection to work. Just learned this the hard way. My network is setup, everything is ready to go, but I have to wait until my internet service is restored before I can use them again. If they could correct this one problem, the system would be near perfect.

Amazing sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Sonos One to use in various locations throughout my house and yard. I haven't used it a ton yet but when I have used it the sound quality is amazing. The ease of setup was also great. It took me just a few minutes to get it connected to all of my devices and to my Google Home setup. Overall for what I am intending to do with it, it will work perfectly and sound great.

Great sound, humidity resistant.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this daily in my bathroom for a year now and it still works great. No issues with shower steam. The voice assistant has been nice for changing songs on pandora while in the shower, haha. Sound quality has been nice and it gets plenty loud. I just wish there was a way to do room correction on android as that function is only available to Iphone users.

Did not disappoint
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a pair of these for my wife to listen to in the kitchen. We are both highly satisfied with the sound and ease of use. Worth every penny in my opinion. Currently looking to expand around the house/home theater with other Sonos products.

Great sound
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It sounds better that on the store. It was very easy to install and since you can add a voice assistant you can add a routine to it; for example I add one that when the door to the patio is open it will make a sound so anyone on the house is aware (help to know when the grandson is out).

Great Home Speaker with Voice Controls
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great. Works with the Google Voice Assistant. Use it for home automation. The Sonos app is easily to use. Sounds quality is great. Fits in almost any area of home. The compact size is great. Love the color. The controls on the top of it are a but too sensitive for me. However it nice that there is a microphone mute button.

Sound upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a gift for a friend to upgrade the music experience and it definitely did that. Sound was great and portability made it easy to move around the house. Setting up the controller on the phone and new computer took longer than expected based on having done this on my phone and computers for an older generation, but overall was OK.
