So I bought a pair of the Sonos Play:1(s) to add to my Sonos Sound Bar and Subwoofer. The full sound is unbelievable and actually rivals by Bose 650 Lifestyle surround in my living room. The Sonos has more bass for music and movies while the Bose excels in the cinematic depth for highs and lows and full imersive movie experiences. Still that’s saying that the Sonos with an all in around $1700 is very close to the Bose 650 Lifestyle at $4000. Nice job Sonos! Sub note: the Play:1 has Wall mount capability while the Alexa Play:One does not. Keep that in mind when buying for surround vs room to room music based smart speaker usage.

Bought this as a gift for my Husband. He loves it. He loves being able to move from room to room, and only having to go on his tablet to change the song from one room to another. Only thing I would like is to be able to hook up to MY OverDrive account, as I prefer to listen to audio books that I borrow from the library.

The Sonos Player 1 speaker is AWESOME! I was looking for some speakers in my home office. I purchased two of the Sonos Player 1 speakers, one for my office and one for my wife wherever she wants to use it. What I like about the Sonos is the quality. You can feel the quality in the sound but also in it's construction. I like that you can have different music playing from the individual speakers but program it from your smart phone. Or, you can have the same music playing from all the speakers. Totally up to you how you want to configure it. It's simple to setup and use. I highly recommend the Sonos Player 1 speakers. It's worth spending the money on these little gems.

This small speaker puts out quite a bit of sound. Great for a small room, kitchen/dining room/office. I move it from room to room all the time and even take it outside in the summer. It's simple to stream your favorite music services, it also comes with Tunein which lets you stream local radio stations as well.

The sound from my 2 Play 1 speakers is absolutely the best quailty I have ever heard. I purchased a sonos soundbar to compliment my flat screen tv because the tv speakers face the wall. These 3 speakers work great together. In my honest opinion they are the best speakers money can buy.

The Sonos speaker is simply outstanding! The quality of the sound, volume, compact design make this an ideal speaker. The sound literally fills the entire house!!

I bought 2x a Play:3 and 2x a Play:1 with the idea to try them out, see which I liked best and then returning the ones I didn't want... Guess what, I kept them all. Installed the Play:3's in my living room, a Play:1 in the Kitchen and another Play:1 in the bathroom. And I'm completely in love with the experience. Because that's exactly what it is. With the Sonos speakers, listening to music is taken to another level. The sound quality is fantastic. But the Sonos app makes the experience complete. Connecting the speakers to your favorite music source (whether streaming or your personal library) is made so easy. It really works straight out of the box.

Having used bluetooth speakers before, the Sonos wireless speakers were an introduction to Wifi based systems for me. The set up was simple - I first had to set up 1 speaker, then launch the Sonos app on the phone, and connect them to wifi and the sonos account, then the other speaker and turn it into a stereo pair. These use the Sonos app as the control center to queue the music to play and streams wireless leaving the phone for other uses unlike bluetooth pairing. The sound and build quality is great, the sonos app is easy and the flexibility is unmatched. Alexa integration is a big plus, no Google Home integration though yet

These speakers are amazing! The quality is very impressive. I was surprised how loud the speaker can get, and the sounds fills the whole room. The app is very easy to use, and your music is easy to get to an play. I am planning on using two of them for surround sound in my living room.

Sonos are the best for those who are committed to having the best sound. They are the most versatile and best sounding speakers on the market The PLAY 1 is no exception. It packs a powerful punch for such a small speaker and while it's not for everyone; if you have the 200 to spend, you could do a lot worse.,

The whole Sonos concept is ingenious. Easy to setup. Easy to expand. Great sound and easy to use. Best of all free music service options as well as pay services like Pandora, itunes, etc.

Love it. One sonos is enough for the whole kitchen and great room and dining room. The sound quality is really great but it's not completely wireless since you do have to plug it in. DIdn't think about that when I bought it. I'm still trying to figure out how to network all my music to it but so far, it's been great.

The Sonos 1 is an amazing speaker in a tiny package. Sound quality is amazing and with a one-touch play button, its super easy to turn on and immediately stream your favorite music after setup.

After looking for wireless speakers, my husband and I decided on getting three Play1s. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this system! I love that I can control the speakers on my iPhone, Ipad or Computer from anywhere in the house. I also love that it has available my music library, online radio, Pandora, etc. It is seriously easy to use. At first we paired two Play1s in our large living room and set them up as a stereo pair. They sounded great that way! But they are also super portable, and I ended up taking one of them downstairs for a dinner party, and have been using it down there when I exercise and turn up the music. I also love that we can play different music in the different rooms that have speakers. Very happy with this product!

Replaced under the counter stereo system with this speaker. Downloaded couple of Apps (Sonos, Songza, and Tunein) and could not be happier..... Had an issue with initial setup... Called the tech support and up and running - no issues since!

Recommended by BB tech. Product came in beautifully packaged box- first impression of a quality product. Paired with another Play 1 as stereo - Set up within 10 minutes! Took a while to play with app to figure out all of the capabilities. Excellent sound quality- no loss of connection so far. Loving them!!!

When my wife said she missed our old stereo component system, I decided to try and replicate that sound in our home for her Christmas present. The sales man that helped me choose between this and a Bose spent about a half hour with me. After weighing all the pros and cons of each I chose the Sonos. While it isn't quite as good as the old component system, it comes very close. It was easy to set up, my wife, daughter and I can navigate everything in the app right away. I bought 2 and have one in the family room and the living room. Each can play the same thing or different things. Love it!
