I purchased a pair of Play:5's for my living room, where I previously had Play:3's. Sound of Play:5's is more full, with richer bass. Mostly used for listening to jazz and classical music. Setup is simple, as is pairing for stereo sound. Control is via Sonos app on phone and tablet. App works very well and allows me to play same music in multiple rooms. Music source is iTunes as well as Pandora and online radio. Trueplay works well to tune the sound for the room. I feel no need for the Sonos sub for my listening. Very pleased with these and other Sonos products.

Was going to purchase Bose wireless speakers but when I got to the store the salesman showed me the Sonos and the superior rich sound was uncomparable. Extremely happy with this purchase. Easy to set up and the app is very easy to use. Highly recommend it.

The Sonos Play:5 is everything I hoped for. I waited to add the new Play: 5 to my system to take advantage of the line in functionality. Like my Play: 1 and Play: 3, the Play: 5 was a snap to install and delivers premium wireless sound were ever I desire.

The Sonos system is great! I have the sound bar, 2 play 1's, 1 play 3 and this play 5. I. Couldn't be more happy with the quality, sound and ease of use once all is set up. I also like the fact that I can plug in my turntable directly into the Play 5.

Its a great box for clear loud sound... The sound is clear and the box is compact.

I bought a pair of play5's to go with my sonos soundbar, sub & pair of play1's, the 5's not only completed my system but boosted it to an awesome level of power and clarity.

Have 2 of these speakers paired with the Sonos Sub. Even a low volumes the base will punch you in the chest!! Clean sound, crisp highs, they deliver incredible sound. Setup was simple, keep in mind you may need to wire it to your router initially if your at a distance, then move it later. I also own the Playbar, equally as good. These speakers are expensive, but if you appreciate rich quality reproduction of music you can't go wrong with the Sonos lineup.

The clarity is amazing. The speaker sounds great and looks good too. Very easy to connect. Got it on sale so the price was a bit better. No wires (just power cord) so I can put it anywhere. Only improvement would be to have bluetooth.

I absolutely love the Sonos speaker. I have been looking for a speaker with this sound quality and found it!!! I am listening to it now. Wow the Bass is on point. It makes all of my fav songs sound soooooo good.

The best speaker on the market if you ask me. They are pricy but the quality is unmatched. Sound is clear regardless of how loud you play it. I would even say it’s about as loud but has more bass than my PLAYBAR

Easy to setup, great sound for wireless speaker, great app for room to room and speaker control.

For those of you who may not be familiar with these SONOS speakers they are, in my opinion, the absolute best thing to ever hit the music and television audio world. I am delighted every time I turn them on. Whether it's to just "chill out" to music after a long day at the office or to be blown away during an amazing 4K movie played on my OLED TV, it really doesn't get any better than this. I was a die-hard BOSE fan prior to discovering these speakers but now I will never look back. I was so impressed with these as a surround sound system with my television in my home theater, I installed another one in my master bedroom-placing the subwoofer under my bed. Last night I was watching Dr. Strange in bed and literally thought I would be bounced off my bed from the bass that the sub produced. WOW. Other than the power cord, SONOS are wireless and the feature I like the best is having the ability to build your own "Zones". In other words you can put a speaker in every room of your house and group them together however you like. So you can listen to one song in say the kitchen, family room and living room, while your child listens to another in their bedroom and play yet another one out at the pool. Then you can change the rooms in your zones over and over again. It's wild. As far as quality goes, I have not heard a better speaker- wired or wireless- ever! I will say that the increased cost of the SONOS PLAY 5 over the SONOS PLAY 3 is definitely worth it. I was talked into trying the PLAY 5's by a BB employee and I thank him everyday for that. The difference in sound quality between the two is "HUGE". SONOS also gives you the option of using the speakers as either a single speaker with both left and right in one speaker, or buying two independent speakers and using them as a pair with separate left and right speakers. For the record, I am an individual that doesn't care about the cost of an object- I only buy the best. I can safely say that after listening to these SONOS PLAY 5's -I BOUGHT THE BEST!

The sound from this speaker is awesome. The bass is deep and rich. The set up is a piece of cake. Great product! I want more.

This speaker continues to impress me! Being an audiophile I am extremely picky about what I'll listen to and this is absolutely amazing. It has the ability to play sonically at low volumes perfectly reproducing low tones you wouldn't hear otherwise on anything else. The mid tones are warm and full of depth, the high's are crisp and clear, but not overbearing. This speaker has been meticulously built to perform well beyond your expectations! It's acoustic design is superb! No port chuffing like the competition, the lows are tight and accurate without the hollow sucker punch sound the competition gets on strong hard low tones like that of a kick drum. Definitely a solid solid buy and well worth every single penny!

I wanted to get an additional speaker to play my Amazon Echo and Google play on in my media room. I went with Sonos as they have great reviews and it is SO much more than a wireless speaker. It was easy to set up with their app. and plays all of my music services directly over my WiFi. I enjoy the freedom or verbally commanding a song or playlist with Alexa or Google Home. Google Home is not fully integrated if you don't use the phone app., but you can add an Audio Chromecast for now and plug it into the line in for verbal commands. The sound quality is AWESOME and I only have the one PLAY:5 speaker. (for now) I will definitely be adding on additional speakers to add to my system in the near future.

I put this in the kitchen to offer additional sound while I spend time there. It is part of a great room where I have the sound bar and two threes in the living room for surround sound. Pro: This works perfectly to pair with that set and to fill the entire space with sound quality (and ease of use) that you have come to expect from Sonos. Love this; highly recommend. Con: expensive.

I recently purchased my second Sonos Play 5 speaker and decided to pair them with a Sonos Soundbar and Sonos Sub to create the 5.1 sound system in my living room. These speakers do not disappoint. They are very, very simple to set up and the new addition of the TrueTuning maximizes sound in any room. I cannot say enough about Sonos and the unbelievable quality and flexibility these speakers provide. Be careful buying them though, because you'll want them in every room of your house!!

I've always been a fan of the Bose until I heard this thing. Crystal clear sound great bass. Only downfall it's not portable.

Great sound,easy installation.Purchased Play:5 and 2 additional sonos speakers.Followed instructions,tuned with iphone.After 2 days loved the sonos system so much purchased additional speakers for rest of the house.

No wires and Easy setup, excellent for any size room. Sound just fills the whole room. I have owned really expensive high end sound system but this one by far the best one. Sonos sub with play 5 is the ultimate.
