I already had a 1st gen Roam and use it a lot. I picked up this Roam 2 to make a stereo pair for use on my deck and patio. The Roam 2 has an improved sound and battery life. My wife and I take it to the pickleball court and people are amazed at the great big sound that comes out of this little speaker. It sounds great at all volume levels. Very practical and fits in anywhere. I use it in my bar & kitchen to add another dimension of sound. We use it all the time.

Great Bluetooth speaker. Provides plenty of clear sound on our lanai and is compact enough to take around to beach etc.

I added the Sonos Roam 2 to my sound system to have music in the kitchen and also on the go, when needed. While small, this speaker still easily fills the kitchen with great sound and integrated extremely well with my main Sonos system in the family room.

Audio from any Sonos product is fantastic, the Roam was purchased for a small office environment and is a wonderful solution. the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity is great for a full immersive audio experience or using it for individual listening.

Added this to the collection in the house for grandson to use in his room. Easy to use, great sound.

Product was packaged really well and is a sturdy speaker. We had purchaed the Sonos Sound Bar and added 2 of the portable speakers. They work well and have a great sound in a medium sized Living Room.

Sonos always sound great! I love my portable speaker. I take it everywhere around the house. The best part is my tvs and yard systems all link together. Thanks again sonos! Over all i gave you the highest star, but didnt work.

Great product. Connects easily and the charge lasts a long time. Use 1 travelling and another in our UTV. Great sound for such a small speaker.

The Sonos Roam 2 sounds amazing for its size — clear, rich, and powerful. Super easy to use with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and it’s lightweight and waterproof, perfect for travel or outdoor use. Battery life is solid, and setup with the Sonos app is quick. Great upgrade and totally worth it!

I purchased the Roam 2 portable smart speaker to use at work. It has blue tooth so I can play my Apple music playlists or if I chose to use the Sonos app, I can use the many radio stations they make available at no charge. This is definitely a great purchase. I had some trouble with the Sonos app not working because I was using public WiFi. It was resolved as soon as I used private WiFi. The Sonos support team was great and helped me with that issue. I would definitely recommend you buy this speaker.

Over the years, I’ve had numerous portable speakers, including JBL and Apple HomePod minis. I can definitely say without a doubt, the Sonos Roam 2 is hands-down the best sounding, most durable, and longest-lasting portable speaker I’ve ever used. This speaker is amazing! Connection is flawless and it’s simple to set up using the Sonos app. The bass response and volume are incredible for a speaker this small. Buy them in pairs and use them around your home. Great job, Sonos!

Roam2. I bought this to take on micro to Maui. It was fabulous. So easy to use and the sound was perfect.its so lightweight it makes traveling so easy.

If you are expecting a fully wireless bluetooth speaker, it doesn't come with the price you pay at checkout. Bluetooth connection and sound is fantastic but, the out-of-the-box battery firmware must be trash. If you leave it plugged in, it works. If you charge it fully and use it immediately, it works but, fully charged, fully off and unplugged for a day? Can't tell if it's asleep or off, because it makes the same sound. Either way, the battery should not drain in a day but it will... Unless you download and register the device with the SONOS app, which requires agreeing to the apps TOS and grant ALL the permissions and data collection "required" , which far more than a Bluetooth speaker needs to function. The warranty is basically void, if you do not use the app because you can't update the firmware and, SONOS will not process a warranty claim, without running diagnostics via the app. I completely understand the requirements but, the TOS agreement and "required" permissions are tantamount to selling my soul to the devil... or whatever... It's up to you to draw the line on protecting your personal data. All that said, after the SONOS AI support, followed by human support, prior to being passed to a supervisor because I've offered to ship the device to SONOS to diagnose, to avoid this apps TOS and data permissions, I've wasted more time than it's worth. It's a plug in speaker.

These are awesome little speakers. This is the second one I have picked up. It works seamlessly with Alexa. It says it works with Google, but it doesn’t. There’s no option for that. I’ve given up and just use it with Alexa. The sound is great. The portability is great.
