Outstanding sound quality , the sub woofer was very easy to set up and control.

Moving company broke my Bose soundbar so I moved to sonos. Always had connection issues with Bose and was extremely disappointed with it. After setting up the Sonos which was super easy, it immediately fired up and sounded better and i havent had connection issues at all. Excellent product!

Pack a punch in a small package. We have it setup in a 10x20 room and it is plenty powerful. Shakes the whole room on action scenes. Paired with a beam it brings near Dolby Atmos sound quality.

This sub perfects my Sonos ERA 300 stereo pair setup. I had the larger one to start, but then tried this and for my room size, 5mx10m, I couldn't tell a difference so swapped out for this smaller one. Its less obtrusive size wise, I get the same bass, and the bass is perfectly matched - adds just to the low end where needed, and appears to come from center of my speakers, even though the sub is in a corner of the room.

I dont think the Sub mini paired well with the Beam 2 but it works great with my Playbar. The Beam 2 lacks midbass and when paired the sub mini it comes across as boomy and not well blended together. With the Playbar it sounds great and well blended for a cohesive aound and extra pumch to bring gravity to movies and shows.

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. Really nice quality when pairing with arc ultra. Thumps the room wonderfully.

This thing paired with 4 Sonance 6.5" In-ceiling speakers fills my room perfectly. Honestly have sub4 setting at +1, so plenty more available if needed.

I recently bought the Arc Ultra for my apartment and did not think I needed the Sub Gen 4 or 3 given how surprisingly punchy the Ultra was. Still needed that tiny extra bass response. Mini totally fit the bill. Base produced tight sounds, no vibrations and complemented my system.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The sound quality is incredibly clear with deep bass and impressive room-filling performance. Makes a huge difference when paired with a arc ultra amd two era300s for surround!! Now i cant stop watching good movies cause of how great the sound is. Highly recommend sonos

I love the sleek design. Although its placement in the room is behind some furniture. I like that its tucked away and fits nicely where we placed. The Sonos app makes control and tweaks easy to do.

What a boost to my overall living room audio. The base sound accompanies the arc ultra perfectly. This is going to make for some amazing game day and movie nights!

They call it mini but it isn’t really all that small and the sound is huge. Easy to fine tune so there is a perfect balance of bass. I’m blown away by bass I can feel anywhere in the room. Paired with the Sonos ARC soundbar and a 65” Roku RV.

Great subwoofer! I got 2 for the front and back of the room but one is plenty of bass.

Purchased this with my arc ultra and era 300’s The sub4 rounds out the experience with nice deep yet punchy bass. Much more full sounding than the sub mini. Loving this subwoofer especially at the sale price!
