After buying the Beam soundbar I decided to add the Sonos mini subwoofer to go with it. The Beam sounded great on its own but the subwoofer adds that bass punch (especially for movies) and improves the mid range and higher tones from the Beam. A great addition to the Beam. This unit is great since it adds all the bass you need but is designed not to shake the walls and vibrate through the floor which important when you’re renting.

They add the punch and drive era 300s lack by themselves. Music sounds Much more present. They are not cheap though.

Goes as deep as it seems appropriate for my living space. Glad I didn’t get the bigger one. Couldn’t be easier to set up.

I own all of the speakers in the Sonos lineup. This sub compliments my beam nicely. It not as loud as it’s big brother, but it is just as accurate. I just wish the price was a little bit cheaper. Perhaps $350.

Sonos sub Mini is just a powerful small sub that comes in a punch! You wouldn't imagine such a small device to compare to the bigger Sonos sub could produce so much bass, but you will be surprised! I have bought this with low expectations let be honest lol, but when I connected this and let's just say all Sonos products are ease of use when it comes to pairing new devices, but after that I played Top Gun Maverick, and I was blown away with the bass on here to the point where I actually felt the need to actually lower the bass for once. Overall, pretty good sub from the bigger brother sub.

Purchasing this speaker from Best Buy could not have been easier! Add adding it to our SONOS surround sound system took only a few minutes and vastly improved the overall quality! Would definitely recommend adding one to your system.

The Sonos Sub Gen 4 is an excellent addition to any Sonos home audio setup, offering deep, distortion-free bass that significantly enhances movies, music, and TV audio. Its design features dual opposing drivers that cancel vibrations and deliver precise low-end frequencies down to 25 Hz.

An absolute necessity for a large room. To get the full benefit of the Sonos Arc Ultra. The sub 3 will not cut it with Sonos arc Ultra. I tried to save and had to return the 3. It is paired for this sub woofer. The design is great. The sound is very good for a sound bar sub woofer. If you think the ultra arc will cover it all without the subwoofer, you are mistaken. The sub picks up all the bass upper bass to complete the system.

A lot a base for a small speaker. Fits well in a corner and rumbles the room.

I have an Arc, and two Era 100 as surrounds along with my LG 55 in my home office. Although the arc is impressive, I felt the lack of bass below 100hz. So, I read up on whether to pair the Arc with the Gen 3 sub or the sub mini. Online audiophiles recommended that you answer two questions: 1) Size of room and 2) do you want to rattle your neighbors and feel it in your chest. Since my room wasnt large (eg <300’ sq) and i didnt want to disturb my neghbors (or wife) i chose the sub mini. I’m very happy with my choice. After running Truplay set up, the sub adds in the bottom end nicely, filling in the whole in the Arc, to a well balanced signal down to 25hz for movie soundtracks as well as classical symphony. Nice flatline from 25hz on up. Now, that said, i did experiment further and found the sub mini to also be very impressive when i wanted to watch an action film like “Extraction” with cinema quality, heart throbbing bass (& my wife’s out of the house and my neighbors are gone)… I simply go into the Sonos settings and turn up the sub volume +5 to + 7 (out of +15) and you get all the oomph of chest pounding bass you’d expect from a sub. Im thrilled - particularly for not shelling out the extra $400 for the gen3 full sub. Clearly not needed in my scenario. YMMV.
