I am extremely pleased with my new Sonos Sub - Gen 3 which I bought simultaneously with a Sonos Arc Soundbar. The sub is solid, sounds great, no hums or vibrations, and it looks great in our home. While the Soundbar was super easy to set up with my system, I did have some difficulty having the Sonos iPhone app recognize the Sub to mate it up with the Sonos Arc Soundbar. After an hour or so of working with it and resetting it I got it working with the app and interfaced with the Soundbar. As I write this review I have had it installed for just over a month and it has been working perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the Sonos Arc with Sonos Gen 3 Sub combination as a perfect home theatre and music listening system.

Great sound, easy to set up, and allows you to put it anywhere in thr house wirelessly

These are our first Sonos products. Good build quality. Not audiophile sound but good enough for casual listening. Was looking for a single integrated music solution for the whole house that could be controlled by voice. Has worked well most of the time. Had some connectivity issues during a party one time so far. I think it was tied to the Sonos app changes that have been ongoing for months. Seems to have resolved itself. The app is the biggest concern at this point. Will continue to monitor the updates and their impact on useability.

Amazing subwoofer. I have it currently positioned in-between two wooden tv stands and it truly adds a movie theater experience to whatever it is I’m doing. Listening to music sounds incredible and the deep, rich bass makes gaming and movies that much better. Given how small the speakers inside of it are. It’s amazing how strong the bass can hit without it sounding distorted or drowning out other sounds. Heavily recommend for Sonos users or just overall sound systems

Excellent quality that matches the price. The Sonos app was easy to use to get this setup to other speakers and flawlessly optimized the sound for my room. Dual subs are worth the price.

The sound in this sub is fantastic. I pair it with a Sonos Arc bar and the sounds is amazing. I have a fairly large living and the sound is very clear and loud. It was very easy to connect to the devices using the Sonos App. In addition, had (2) older small Sonos speaker (One SL) and once all paired all devices to play all once the feel of a surround system was instantaneously. This system is give a run for their money to all high end surround system in the market.

Like another reviewer I purchased an Arc and was a little underwhelmed. Added the sub and was just blown away. The sub changes everything. Be warned if you live in an apartment your neighbors will hate you.

Excellent Subwoofer needed to complete my Sonos Arc's great sound. Very easy to set up and to add to the soundbar. The sound is great, not boomy at all, and even better for music.

Great sub, paired easily with existing system. Large living room is fully engulfed in full rich bass now with two.

Totally blown away by the lower end! Along with the Sonos top-of-the-line soundbar, I recently added Sub (Gen 3) subwoofer to a new flatscreen system. I was thinking it would work well and avoid the headache of trying to tie-in the audio system that was in place in the same part of the house. That system has Roger Sound Lab RSL Elan tower speakers. Uniquely situated to cross-check the sound, the much more compact Sub (Gen 3) equals or exceeds the Elan towers in low end quality. In fact, music played over the Sonos home theater AV sound system is probably better sounding than that coming out of the audio system. Sonos has made a believer out of me, the suspicious audiophile.

Crazy good bass! If you add this to the Sonos Arc, the sound quality is amplified substantially. I’m able to hear sounds I couldn’t hear before with the Arc alone. It’s awesome, just get it.

If you want something that doesn't have wires SONOS is the way to go adding this sub is the cherry on top the sound is amazing and it doesn't look like a speaker! Great job Sonos with this sub good clean bass

I'm very pleased with our Sonos system. We replaced our original home theater system after 16 years. Our Sonos system (Beam, Subwoofer and 2 surround speakers) has eliminated an incredible tangle of wires and allows us to use the system with all our inputs. The sound is incredible. I've had to alter it from the factory defaults because we live hog by jowl with out neighbors in an apartment building. We've used the Equalizer to remove signal compression. In addition, I've moved the Sub-woofer setting to -4 and increased to Bass to +4 and treble to +5. The bottom is about as big as we dare and the overall sound feels full. Oh, I also increased the level on the Surround speakers to +3.

I purchased the Sonos Arc and was very pleased with the sound. Then I decided to Add the Subwoofer........... WOW, this kicked the sound up to a whole different level. I could not believe the difference the Sub made. If you're going to spend the money on the ARC, plan on adding the Sub as soon as possible. No ground shaking rumble or distortion, just the full rich sound of the base. I Totally Could Not Have Imagined How Much DIfference This Addition Made To The Sound. This is a "MUST HAVE" if your going to spend that manky $$$ on a sound bar. What a Difference. ARC does not even sound the same after adding the Sub.

the sonos system is amazing. Can unplug and move around the living room and plug back in with no issues. Also love the "night sound" feature for when the kids are sleeping. We put this under our love sac and it is a game changer!

Syncs with soundbar easily. Works as intended. Looks good.

Amazing sound and bass can shake the house if that's what you're looking for in a movie.

I never would have believed the low frequencies that this thing produced unless I heard it myself. Absolutely impressed
