I had been using the playbase without the sub for a couple years and thought it was good enough, but once I added the sub the sound was much more immersive.

Awesome addition to your 5.1 surround in your basement or family room. I have this paired with arc sound bar and Sonos Play Ones for the rear. It will pound out the bass! I got this open box for $100 less than MSRP. Yes, Sonos is expensive, but the setup and sound and convenience makes it worth the price.

The subs don’t get much better than this but what I’m surprised to see are the same setup connection issues. I contacted Sonos and they wanted me to provide them with info on each and every smart device connected to the WiFi in my home. Not just the dozen Sonos products I have but the smart light bulbs, switches, plugs and everything. It felt like it would be a complete invasion of privacy. All of this so that the “wireless” setup could be done. Well glad I had a ton of hard wired ethernet connections put in when I built the house so instead of it being wireless it is now hard wired. Don’t get me wrong, great product but this same issue has existed for 5 years, 2 homes and multiple WiFi routers later.

I have had three different setups because I was being cheap. I finally hit a bonus and decided to go with the Sonos setup. Even my wife enjoys the sound. That's saying a lot!

Sonos sub is great all around. When Im watching movies it provides adequate lows which gives the feeling of being in an actual theater. When listening to music the bass hits hard like I'm in the club. Im considering adding another sub to my setup!

VERY expensive, but if you’ve been waiting a long time, conducting research on the best home audio system, this is WELL worth it. Not only does this sub have the best low end I’ve ever heard from a home speaker, but it also functions amazingly well within my smart home sound system (Sonos). Fully recommend.

This Sub (Gen 3) is incredible! When paired with the Sonos ARC and One SL in a surround sound audio setup with my new LG 77" OLED TV the ATMOS has to be heard to believe. The Sub increases the ATMOS experience to a new level. you have to hang on when enjoying action movies. And playing music on this system is amazing!

This is a must have if you want the best sounding sonos system possible! When I added this sub, it blew me away! I should've been had this years ago . Now I can't see how I lived without it.... Go ahead and make that move! You'll be happy you did....

Great product: sleek and elegant; works well with the speakers

By far the best sub I have owned. I recently purchased a LG Oled and the Sonos Arc and was completely blown away. The bass is precise and it rattles the house but not in a way that you hear but the way you feel it. I loved it so much I add a second one and I can say this buy it you won't regret it.

I think the bass from this subwoofer is what bass is supposed to sound like. Perfect for movies or music. Unlike others I've heard, it doesn't thump, it surround you. I have mine sitting behind the couch, but when family comes over, they say it sounds like it's coming from in front of us and start searching for the subwoofer.

It brings the woofs quite nicely. Sonos is limiting its customer base by charging $699.99 for it though. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone for the value alone. It’s just a bit of internet of things(IoT) convenience and it’s not that big of one, especially with its manufacturer being big on planned obsolescence.

Like all Sonos products, sound quality is terrific and setting it up, extraordinarily easy. Set up in an out of the way corner of the room but when it’s was tuned with Sonos TruePlay, the impressive sound filled the room and worked seamlessly with the home theater system

Completed my surround sound system with Sonia Arc and two Ones. It’s like I have a new TV. The sound is so rich and full. It’s an expensive investment, but the quality is worth it. Very easy to se up using their app.

I originally did not purchase the sub when I purchased speakers for my entertainment room. I would highly recommend adding the sub for a true theatre experience.

I added this to my arc and im glad i did! Sounds wayy better than i expected it to. Its tucked behind my couch so it worked out great for me.

If you don't have a Sonos system you are missing out! We have this subwoofer connected to the rest of our speaker sound system for the tv and it makes for a great movie night!

This sub is definitely a step up from the 2nd generation sub. The low end is fuller and clearer. I’ve paired the sub with the Sonos arc and together they are an amazing wireless setup. If you are part of the Sonos ecosystem I highly recommend getting the sub. It’s expensive, but you won’t be disappointed.

It’s my second sub for my Sonos set up, would highly recommend all Sonos products. Love my new home theater. FYI- if you purchase an open item from Best Buy for this product. Google Sonos factory reset, this will help the install via the app. Helps Sonos recognize a product that’s outside of your current system.

Cant tell you how please I am with this. I puzzled buying sonos or bose for a while. Main concern was my friend said bose loose connectivity alot. So i went with sonos... The base on this thing is crazy and i dont even have it turned up alot. I also got the soudbar and two solar rear speakers. Money well spent
